She’s had a fair amount of training and knows her basic commands, but as with any dog, she could use an owner who will keep up her training. Lucy is cautious upon meeting new people but once she trusts you, her loving side shines through. She has a strong personality that requires an experienced dog owner. Lucy loves to go for rides in the car, walks at the park, swimming, playing with her toys, and spending time with her favorite volunteers. She has spent far too long waiting for her forever family to come along (almost 7 years in the shelter...). Meet Cooper - he is currently 11 months old and 42 lbs. He was found abandoned and skinny on the side of the road, with a scar on his neck from an embedded collar. While it appears, Cooper hasn't had the best life, you would never know it from his appreciative nature and friendly disposition! He is great with other dogs of all sizes, even a small reactive terrier. Cooper is learning to walk on a leash and to sit and wait (rather than jump) for attention. He is a quick learner! Meet Cooper, a young, exuberant dog, who is ever so sweet. He has two paw print markings on his side to show just how special he is. His tail wags the moment you talk to him.
