We have 4 kittens ready for adoption. 9 weeks old, neutered, microchipped, negative for feline leukemia, have had their first vaccines. They are litter box trained and use a scratching post. Very social and friendly! The 3 ginger males are ready for adoption. Their calico sister will be ready in a couple of weeks. Their sweet mama, a torti is also looking for a home. She’s probably 2 years old.

***Wade is available for adoption in foster and is not currently at the Marin Humane location.*** Wade is an interesting guy! He is dashingly handsome, quite playful, and super social. He will play until he is panting tired (sometimes jumping off walls chasing his wand toy), and he makes quick work of his food and treat puzzles (handsome AND smart!). Wade loves to be around his people and greets us with leg rubs while enjoying a few pets. He's talkative and pretty darn cute, too, with his pink nose and toes (they turn extra pink when he's playing hard!). Wade is hard to resist when he's rolling around and being adorable, but he has limits on how much petting he wants. Because he can overstimulate, Wade is looking for a cat-experienced adult household that can read his signals. He may take some time to adjust in his new home, but give him time and lots of things to do and soon he'll be loving his new home and family! Meet our bonded pair of brothers Nicholas and Thaddeus! These guys will show their new family that being special needs kitties doesn't stop them from playing and being quite the lovebugs. Nick and Thad went to foster for several weeks and their foster mom raved about them. Here's what she told us: "These two settled in within just a few days. They have lots of energy, love toys, enjoy wand toy play, settle down nicely once tired and also enjoy snuggling up to me. They are purrrr machines, outgoing, friendly and enjoy being brushed. Nicholas and Thaddeus are just wonderful and are going to bring so much joy to their new home!" Here at the shelter, we couldn't agree more! For their safety, Thaddeus and Nicholas should be indoor-only cats, but they may enjoy experiencing a hint of the outdoors with a fully enclosed catio. They are looking for a home without dogs, but get along well with other cats. These boys are "tripods" in that they each have a back right leg that is significantly shorter than their other legs--but this doesn't slow them down (nor does Nicholas's eyes)! Kelci and Lark are a brother-sister bonded pair who would do well in a quiet home. Here's what their foster says about them: "Little Kelsey is such a joy! She has the sweetest little meow especially in the morning. She loves to come to you for cheek scratches and neck rubs, then she flops down for chin rubs (but she still doesn't like to be picked up). She and Lark are bonded and have a great time playing by taking turns chasing each other or hiding behind corners to surprise each other. They can spend a solid hour running around the house together and also love the wand toy. Lark is a bit more timid and reserved, but he really is such a sweetie. He needs patience to establish trust with you, but once he does, he will give you endless slow blinks. He gives subtle clues that he likes you, like laying closer to you after a play session, coming to take a Churu from you, or eventually letting you pet the back of his neck. He watches Kelci get petting and I can tell he wants it, too. With a little more time, he would have melted into pets, too. They both will make incredible companions!"
