Story

Rhiannon (aka Rhi-Rhi aka Little Lion) is a special cat looking for a calm home to spend the rest of her days. She loves to give gentle face sniffs, get a good brushing, and of course receive some good chin and ear scratches. Her two absolute favorite things in the world are lounging in afternoon sunny spots and her crinkled paper ball. Rhiannon spends most of the day dozing, but as soon as she hears the rustle of her paper ball she is at the ready to play a very slow game of fetch. She truly carries one of her many crinkled balls with her everywhere she goes and back to her bed before snuggling up to nap again. She also loves to stand on her hind-legs at the window and chirp at the birds! While Rhiannon still has a playful side, she is arthritic and a bit wobbly when she moves around. She takes 3 medications daily mixed into wet food (no fuss). She would do best in a home without other pets or very young children. (She has lived with another cat successfully while in the shelter, but she has not befriended her foster’s cats.) She’s made great progress in her foster home, opening up to receiving pets and being brushed, but she can still startle easily. She would benefit from living with someone who can read cat body language well and provide her space when requested. She will do best in a calm home with children.over 10 years old. Kings River Rd, Parlier, CA 93648-9720 Please contact them at (559) 222-0228 Age: born February 11, 2013 Sex: Male, neutered Breed: Domestic Shorthair - Gray Tabby and White BigMan is a lovely cat with the most gentle personality. Mostly, he wants to get hugs and rubs and sit on laps. I think if I let him sit on my lap all day that's what he would do. He is a total charmer and even well-behaved at the vet. He has been to two vet appointments (the first to get his shots, etc.) and then to OakVet. Without exception, all the vet techs and the doctors who have met him have fallen in love with him. He is such a good, sweet boy, and even before I rescued him from living outside. As you can tell, I really care about him. BigMan has had a full dental, he has tested positive for FIV. He is currently healthy but is positive for the FIV antibody. It is hopeful than a loving home can be found for BigMan as an indoor cat. BigMan is up to date on vaccinations, is positive for FIV, Negative for Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped.

This little muppet is a huge fan of chasing lights and paper balls, loves (and needs) regular brushing, and really wants to sniff your face and give you nose kisses. She was rescued from being killed at a shelter and is a sweet slightly skittish lovebug who just wants more and more ear rubs. She is looking for a new cat-parent that is patient and loving. Ideally, Rhi Rhi would be the only cat in the house, but we are open to trial adoptions at multi-cat homes. Maybe your friendly furball is the friend she always wanted! She seems to get along with dogs just fine if they are calm around her. She has very basic medical needs (meds mixed into food, 2x daily).

We are 8ish weeks old, recently plucked from the sweet feral life in Oakland, given our first set of kitten vaccines, and we're looking for a human(s) to make it up to us for the rest of our lives. We're prepared to reward you with clumsy but earnest little kitten hyperactivity antics, punctuated with spells of heavy lap sleeping and aggressive purring. We even tolerate the smaller variety of humans with aplomb. All we ask is your eternal devotion and attention and love and regular feedings. We are pretty into each other and would love to be adopted as a pair, but would entertain prospects individually as well. Message our temporary human if you're interested!

We adopted Belle as a kitten 12 years ago from the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society, and she has been an affectionate, loving companion to our family (me, my husband, our 2 children, & our other 2 cats). And I’m certain she’ll make a terrific pet for you & your family as well- so long as you don’t have wall to wall carpeting (like we do)! :( We had no problems with her whatsoever, up until just a few months ago, when she started occasionally peeing outside of the litter boxes (on our staircase). This coincided when we attempted to transition to electronic litterboxes, so we switched back to the old style (clay litter) litterboxes, and we thought that solved the problem (since she had stopped peeing on the staircase). We then replaced the carpeting on the staircase- and then, she started up with peeing on the staircase again… We’ve taken her to the vet (to see if they might be able to shed any light on this issue), but after examining her, they found her to be fairly healthy.

Muffin would love to find that special someone who has enough room in their heart for him, because he is a very big boy! He knows he is large and in charge but turns into a big baby as soon as its time to cuddle. He has his moments of playtime but mostly likes to lounge and cuddle.
