Story
Are you looking for a new head of household? Gandalf is looking for a CEO position with an understanding family who likes a cat with sass. Gandalf runs a tight ship and expects nothing but a loyal feeder who occasionally asks for approved pets for a minute or two. Otherwise, he will sit on his throne and observe his staff as they go about their duties. He expects strict breakfast and dinner times and treats throughout the day. But he`s not interested in being carried around on his palanquin, preferring to move about his subjects on his terms.Once a street urchin, Gandalf clawed his way to the top and knows what hard work looks like, which is why he has no interest in hard work. He`s earned his corner office and a life of luxury - in return he will give you great satisfaction just by knowing him. Nothing more, nothing less. Gandalf is in foster and is scheduling interviews as his schedule permits. Fill out an application today!

Story
Roscoe is extremely playful and sweet. He was the runt of his litter which is probably why he has so much spunk! His nickname is Rossy Bossy. He's a mama’s boy and he gives the best snuggles, makes the best biscuits and he absolutely loves to play. He needs to be adopted into a home with another playful cat buddy – that can be your current resident kitty or another available foster. Roscoe can be a bit shy at first with people he doesn't know but will definitely warm up to you quickly. He would do really well in a calm home environment along with another young playful cat, kids over age 10 and maybe a calm dog. He has mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), where he will lose balance slightly in his back legs while walking, it is almost unnoticeable and does not slow him down at all (scroll down to see his video). CH is not a medical condition that will cause him problems as he grows. We estimate that Roscoe was born in late May 2023. Kitty Bio 1506KL-Ro. Story
Notes from the foster:I have had `Fraidy` since Dec 1, and she is SLOWLY opening up! She still hides under the bed a lot, but always comes out to eat in the kitchen, scurries past me, and sometimes I find her in the living room when I wake up. She doesn`t come up onto your lap by choice, but does meow like she WANTS to (but isn`t quite there with the full trust yet)!Every night she comes up onto my bed while I am laying down in the dark, and gives a cute `meow!` and allows me to scratch her chin, body, pet her, but keeps just the right amount of distance to be able to bolt in case a fast move or sound frightens her. She is slowly gaining trust! I have hope she will get better at it. She is afraid of toys, and does not come to a call, but she played on a handmade cat mat that is infused with catnip the past few days, and she likes to jump up on my window sill behind the curtain. She doesnt allow me to pick her up, or cuddle, but she sleeps next to me on the bed in her little bed. So it is getting better!

Story
Bubba is all about playtime and activity, always ready to engage in a game or explore his surroundings. He's not just playful; he's also a BIG fan of being brushed, enjoying the attention and care. His purr is bigger than he is and his motor starts instantly when you brush or pet him. Bubba's gregarious and sweet nature make him an awesome companion. He very much enjoys treats, especially the squeeze-up gooey kind. Bubba gets along great with the older foster kitties who share the same space and is often found napping with at least one of them. He hasn't been around dogs, and he's done well around older kids (8+). Bubba will want to have a feline friend in his new home. He is fostered with his brother, Ziggy. They make a great pair. Estimated birth date is early September 2023. Kitty Bio #5494JA-Di.    If you're interested in adopting this or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.July 14, 2024, 3:30 pm

Introducing Ziggy, a sweetheart male kitty with a gentle soul. Ziggy is shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he transforms into a playful and curious little fella. He's observant and quite smart ... he seems to have the potential to learn a few tricks. And he loves to be brushed! Ziggy is waiting to find that special person who understands him and can bring out the best in him. He will need to have a kitty friend compantion in his forever home. He would love to be adopted as a pair with his brother, Bubba if possible. Ziggy is OK with older kids age 8+. He hasn't been around dogs. Estimated birth date early September 2023. Story
Nate is a suave, easy-going guy with super soft fur and a love for cheek and forehead scratches. He adores his people and loves to sit in laps. Nate is an affectionate, curious and playful guy —showing his playful spirit and zest for life. He's timid with new people or changes to his living space so he will do best with people that have experience and patience and the willingness to encourage a timid cat and support him through his adjustment to a new home and people. It will be worth your effort and won't take him long to show his personality. Once he knows a person, he’s a real charmer.  Nate may do fine with a cat-friendly dog but we think he should be the solo cat in his home because he can be a bit of a bully to other felines. Best with gentle children over age 10. Nate is FIV+ but is in good health and is expected to live a normal life, both in quality and duration. Estimated birth date is early 2022. Kitty Bio# 3876MB-Na.   If you're interested in adopting this or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.  July 14, 2024, 3:30 pm
