Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 13 year old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I like sleeping on a human’s bed. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I'm learning that getting people pets are great and I'm starting to ask for them more and more. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl, but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. Pepper is a sweet little kitten who was rescued from under a staircase with her mother Clove and sister Paprika. She is a curious and playful little baby, eager to learn and explore and figure out how to be your future best furry friend! She loves chasing wand toys and poking her sister when hidden inside the cat tunnel. She is also affectionate and while she is mostly busy doing important kitten things, she still makes time to come see you for a cuddle and some kisses. Pepper is fostered in Menlo Park with her mama and sister. She needs to be adopted with her sister Paprika or into a home that already has a young, friendly kitty.
