I am shy and timid at first so please be very patient and once you earn my trust, I'll be your BFF. I'm playful, litterbox trained, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, not a picky eater and will snuggle next to you in bed. My fur is very soft and I LOVE to be brushed. Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 13 year old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I like sleeping on a human’s bed. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I'm learning that getting people pets are great and I'm starting to ask for them more and more. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl, but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home.
