Story

My daughter found "Yitten" as a newborn kitten (hence the name)11 years ago near Russian River. She fell in love with her! Yitten's "sister" Rosie was a good companion for her, until Rosie passed away at the old age of 22 a couple of years ago. I think Yitten has been a little lonely ever since, and would probably welcome your company or your other cat in your home. While she doesn't shed much, over the years our allergies/work/traveling have increased, so we now hope to find a home for Yitten where she can receive lots of love and attention. She's happy cuddling in a warm lap or bed, and in general is a pretty mellow cat who lived indoors for the first few years of her life, and now appreciates the indoor/outdoor lifestyle (but she would probably readjust easily into an indoor-only situation). We will provide a litter box, and any litter, wet/dry food, treats, flea meds, and grooming tools that we may have. Please be in touch soon!

Beautiful Missy was rescued from a furniture restoration workroom along with her siblings. Missy is about 8 months old; she is up to date with her vaccinations, has been de-wormed, spayed, and is litter box trained. Her mother tested negative for feline Leukemia when she was still nursing. Missy is a stunning dilute tortoiseshell kitty. Her grey stripes are interrupted with beautiful splotches of creamy orange. She is very regal with her black nose, amazing ears and generous long tail. Missy has the sweetest disposition. She was in a prospective adopter's home with instructions that she needed to be kept indoors. They were careless, a day later she got outside and was lost for over a week. Missy was finally caught in a trap that I had placed in a neighbor's backyard. She was quite traumatized by this experience and so will be guarded until she gets to know you, after which her tender, gentle personality will shine through. If I could keep her with me forever I would.

Piper has been our beloved cat for 10 years. We adopted her from the San Francisco humane society and she has been with us ever since. She spent the first 8 years of her life as a strictly indoor cat and the last 2 years she has started going in and out of the house as she pleases. She is house trained, extremely soft, and very cuddly. She loves curling up by the fire or snuggling under a blanket on your lap. My wife and I now have kids and just don't have the time to give her the attention she deserves. We would love for her to go to a loving home that she can enjoy the second half of her life at.
