Name: Static Age: 2 years old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Domestic Longhair Traits: Good with other cats, kids (unknown with dogs) Fee: $150. Our cats come vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative treatment for fleas/ticks/worms. About Me: Static was surrendered to the rescue because of a divorce and they could no longer take proper care of him. Static has a neurological issue which makes him wobble when he walks. Besides his wobble, static does not act like there's anything wrong with him. The rescue tried a few different routes of treatment to see if he would improve, but Static will likely have the wobble for the rest of his life. He is otherwise a healthy cat. He is the friendliest cat and he absolutely loves to climb into anyone's lap that is available for cuddles. He loves toys just like any other cat, especially catnip filled toys! Static needs to go to a home that he would be able to be kept away from stairs and other high climbable surfaces. While he cannot jump, he will still try to climb cat trees and stairs and we would not want him to hurt himself. Static likes other cats, however they are sometimes a bit afraid of him at first. We have not had Static around dogs, but we think that he would do ok with a slow and proper introduction and he was around dogs in his previous home. About Me: A volunteer of the rescue had a friend who had a mom and kittens at a farm. That's how Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles came to us! These spunky girls are confident and adventurous kittens. Buttercup is a loyal and silly kitten who loves hanging out with her siblings! She is super playful, but out of her litter, she is probably the biggest sweetheart. She absolutely loves attention and to be cuddled. Once playtime is over, she is always the one who wants to be held. We have not had her around any dogs, but we think she would do okay with time and a proper introduction. Blossom is the largest of her sisters, she is shy at first, but once she feels safe, she is very sweet, laid back and gentle. She is the most independent of her litter and will go hang out by herself, with people or other cats. Once she is used to you, she turns into a limp noodle when you pick her up. When you first pet this silly girl, she thinks she will not like it, and then after just a moment, she realizes she likes it and wants more. After a few pets, she will start purring. She absolutely loves to run around and play with her siblings. When she is tired, she will happily hang out and take a nap with the older cats in the house. We have not had her with any dogs, but we think with time and a proper introduction, she would be okay with some dogs. Bubbles would do best in a home with no children or only older children due to her being slow to adjust to new situations. About Me : Someone in Antioch reached out about a mom cat that was living underneath their house in the crawlspace with 7 kittens. We were able to get all the kittens, and mom. The people who reached out ended up keeping the mom! Bigfoot is the last one of the 7 kittens left, and he is getting big now! Bigfoot is shy around new people when he isn't in a cage. Once he is used to you, he is a cuddly, playful kitten! When he is all done playing he will happily cuddle up to his favorite human. Bigfoot absolutely loves his wet food! His foster has a wheel for the kitties to run on and bigfoot loves to run as fast as he can on it! Bigfoot has never been around dogs, but his foster family thinks he would do okay with time and a proper introduction . Our cats come vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative treatment for fleas/ticks/worms. About Me: Figaro was accidentally trapped by someone who was helping the rescue catch a mom and kittens on their property. The spay/neuter program that he went through ear tipped him as it was assumed that he was feral. Once in our care, we discovered he is in fact a very nice cat. Figaro loves pets, and so far he has not minded being around other cats in our care. The thing that he loves the most is food. We do not free feed him as he so far has not stopped eating when food is available and that can be dangerous. Figaro is quite the talker when he is in the mood and will talk to you when you walk in a room to ask for food. He gladly accepts pets and is all around a friendly cat. So far, he has gotten along with every cat he has been around. We have not had any dogs around him, but she would likely do ok with a calmer dog with a slow and proper introduction.
