Ruby and Ryan here, ready to show you why we’re the coolest cats around! Today, we’re all about the letter “R”—and guess what? It stands for us! Sure, we have our moments of sass, but that just keeps things interesting, right? And speaking of fun, we’re super Rambunctious! Toys? Check. Chasing each other around? Double check. We’re all about playtime and adventure—it’s our favorite thing! Now, we’ve gotta talk about being Respectful. No, not us—although we’re pretty polite. We mean we’re looking for furever humans who get that we need a calm and peaceful home. We’re still getting used to the world, you know? Changes can be a bit scary for us, but with the right people, we’ll be purring in no time! There are plenty more “R” words that describe us, but you get the idea. If you’re ready to Rescue two lively kitties and give us a loving place to call home, what are you waiting for? Swing by and meet us now! We’ll be here, ready to charm our way into your heart. Hope and Cha Cha Hope - Domestic Shorthair, Born October 2023, Brown Tabby, Spayed FemaleCha Cha - Domestic Shorthair, Born September 2023, Black, Spayed Female Hey ~ have you ever heard someone use the expression “what’s in a name?”.  Well, for me, everything!!!  Because my name is Hope and that describes my life perfectly ever since I was rescued by C.A.R.E. and they gave me that name.  See if you agree:  first I Hoped for a loving foster home ~ and I got one!  Next, I Hoped that I could learn to not be so afraid of people ~ and I’m really getting the hang of that!  And then, I Hoped for a big sister ~ and I got one of those, too!!!  Even though Cha Cha is only a month older than me and she really isn’t my biological sister, I love her like a real sister.  And like all big sisters, she’s shown me how to do a lot of new stuff ~ like how to play with things that aren’t “official” toys (think toilet paper roll), and how to dance the Cha Cha, of course!  Together we are helping each other get used to the things that frighten us and are finding that life is not as scary when you have a friend by your side.  So are you someone with a big heart that will help us continue on the path of Hope and give us a loving and safe home ~ furever?  If so, we can’t wait to meet you.Cha Cha and I are a bonded pair now and must be adopted together! Story
Gemma Domestic Shorthair, Born in April 2023, Gray Tabby, Spayed female  Hey, I'm Gemma, your all-in-one bundle of feline joy! I'm as friendly as they come, always ready to greet you with a gentle head bump and a purr that could rival a motorboat. Lap time? Oh, you bet I'm all about that cozy lap life. There's nothing quite like curling up in your warmth, feeling safe and loved.   When it comes to food, count me in for a social feast! I'm not one to dine alone—I prefer the company of my humans, chatting away with little chirps and meows between bites. Eating together is just more fun, don't you think?   But hey, don't let my love for lounging fool you; I've got energy to spare! I'll zip around the house, chasing after toys and causing a playful ruckus. However, there are times when I crave a bit of solitude. A quiet corner to myself, away from the hustle and bustle, is sometimes just what I need to recharge my batteries.   So if you're looking for a friendly, energetic companion who knows how to appreciate both the excitement of playtime and the tranquility of me-time, I'm your girl. Let's make every moment together purr-fectly wonderful! Adoption Information:  Children: Yes Cats: Yes, with proper introduction Dogs: Unknown  Adoption Fee: $150  This cat is microchipped, spayed, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. Story
RipleyDomestic Shorthair, Born March 2023, Gray Tabby with White, Spayed Female Hello there! My name is Ripley and I've got quite a story to tell, believe it or not! I was rescued from living outside in the January cold, undernourished and small for my age. My rescuer took me in and helped me get stronger and then I was placed in my foster home with C.A.R.E. Before I was rescued I had an eye injury that just wouldn't get better. The vets tried many different treatments but it kept bothering me. Eventually the decision was made to remove my eye.   Since losing my eye I have really come out of my shell and my foster mom says I'm such a happy girl who’s full of energy. I enjoy playing with my foster siblings or chasing my favorite toys around.  I am officially obsessed with the laser pointer and watching the birds eat from the bird feeder outside my foster home.    I may be slower to warm up to you but let's face it, I've been through a lot in my short life so you can’t really blame me. I promise, once I am comfortable with you, you will have a companion for life. I love spending the day with my foster mom in her office either on her desk or looking out the window. And I truly enjoy evening snuggles before finding a comfy chair to spend the night sleeping on.   What do you say, will you give a one eyed kitten like me a chance?    Adoption Information:  Children: Yes, older, cat experienced Cats: Yes, with proper introduction Dogs: Unknown  Adoption Fee: $150  This cat is microchipped, spayed, and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. Salem & JijiSalem - Domestic Shorthair, Born February 2024, Brown Tabby w/White, Neutered MaleJiji - Domestic Shorthair, Born February 2024, Brown Tabby w/White, Spayed FemaleHellooo! I am Salem, my sister is Jiji, and together we are the purrfect combination of charm and mischief that you’ve been looking for!  On most days, when I'm not busy engaging in epic play battles with Jiji, you'll probably find me curled up in my foster mom's lap.  Now Jiji’s another story ~ she's a real pro at the art of the laser chase!  It's her absolute favorite game, and she'll happily chase that elusive red dot for hours ~ and hours ~ and hours. No resting for that girl. But be forewarned, Jiji and I have our own unique quirks, too.  Mine? I have a habit of following humans around like a furry little shadow and sometimes I get so caught up in the excitement of it all that I end up tangled in your feet ~ sorry!  Jiji’s?  She can come off as a bit shy at first, but trust me, don’t let that fool you.  Once she decides she wants some attention, she asks for it in the most adorable ways possible! So if you're looking for a feline pair who are equal parts playful and cuddly, look no further ~ we have a penchant for mischief and hearts as warm as sunbeams.  I'll take the prime spot in your lap, while Jiji can have the sofa, and together, we'll bring double the love and double the laughter into your home ~ furever.  Jiji and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together! Story
Chloe and SophiaDomestic Shorthair, Born in May 2024, Tortoiseshell, Female Surprise, surprise!  Can’t believe your eyes?  Well, it’s us ~ Chloe & Sophia ~ and yes, we do look an awful lot alike, but it’s easy to tell us apart once we tell you the secret:  I’m Chloe and I’m the one with the sexy blonde streak over my right eye, and my sister, Sophia, she has blonde toes ~ sooo cute!!!   But we have our own purrsonalities, too.  So once you get to know us, telling us apart will be easy-peasy. Being sisters, we definitely like to do girly things, but since we grew up with two brothers, we can rough and tumble with the best of them, too.  So if you’re looking for high energy, look no more.  We are always on the go ~ chasing paper balls, playing in cardboard boxes, chasing stuffed mice and climbing to the top of the cat tree.   And best of all, we go to homeschool! Our foster mom is helping us learn the basics of good kitten etiquette ~ things like no roughhousing, no biting, no scratching the furniture, blah, blah, blah ~ and we’ve promised to practice until we get it purrfect.  We hope you’ll come see us soon so we can show you everything we’ve learned!
