Meet Coraline! Coraline is a beauty with her medium-length fur and lovely color. While she is lovely Coraline expects certain etiquette when meeting her. She will chirp at you, this is the invitation for you to reach out for her to sniff you. She will then let you know if you are worthy of petting her by head-butting your hand or if not she will walk away. If you can`t tell yet, Coraline has prided herself on being independent despite living with another cat. She holds her independence high so a home where she can roam around being the queen is best for her preferably with no young kids. Think you have the right place for this beauty? Come by to meet her today!

Story
Meet Shelby! Although Shelby is 14 years old, she remains a playful and energetic companion. She and her sister share a close bond, relying on each other. When they first arrived, both were withdrawn and timid. However, Shelby has since emerged from her shell and now actively seeks attention on a daily basis. She will vocalize her demands by yelling at you and firmly headbutting your arm or hand. If that does not work she will casually place herself in front of the computer or just lay down in front of the keyboard in protest for pets. Coincidently, this works for Shelby as her office human will spend the next 5 to 10 minutes giving her all the attention! If you are interested in meeting these two sisters please come by today! Dont forget to read about her sister Freckles!

Story
Meet Freckles! Freckles is what we call a `senior` however don`t let that fool you. She is an active lady who will bat toys around and occasionally zoom around the room as if it`s her own race course! Although she tends to do that when she thinks you are not watching. While her past is a bit touch and go, Freckles along with her sister Shelby have found comfort in being in an office during their stay. Since moving into the office she has made herself right at home. Freckles likes to greet her office human in the morning by meowing at her and demanding attention. Most of the time however you can find her happily snoozing in her covered cat bed. If you are interested in a pair of lovely ladies who are affectionate, playful, and social, stop by to meet them today!

Story
HelloI’m Tiny D. Miracle-Kitty: Known as Tiny to my friends, family, and co-workers.Currently searching for a position as: Someone’s Beloved PetSkillsMaster Snuggler. Plays well with other cats. Best friend of children. Perfect gentleman at the vet. ExperienceCurrent Position: Foster Cat Extraordinaire August 2024-PresentQueen Anne’s County Animal Services, Queen Anne’s County, MarylandIn this position, I’m responsible for a number of tasks. My favorites are: keeping my foster family company at all times, snuggling my foster mom any time she sits down, and guarding their home from any stray hair ties that may try to attack them. EducationDecember 2023- March 2024Misfit Farm Kitten Academy - Neonatal Kitten Graduate, Magna Cum LaudeMy first round of foster care was when I was just a wee babe. My mom, my sister, and I found ourselves in foster care around Christmas of 2023, and I spent 4 months learning how to be the perfect kitten with my foster family. They gave me an A++ in all categories before sending us into the world to be adopted. AwardsFIP Survivor: This was a difficult award to earn. I was incredibly sick by the time I was re-surrendered to the shelter by my adoptive family. I almost didn’t make it, but thanks to QACAS, some really awesome vets, and my foster family who took me back in for a second time, I officially survived a disease that was previously 100% fatal. Thanks, GS-441524!Areas I’m Working On:My foster family says I have very few flaws. In fact, they often describe me as the perfect boy. However, my foster mom has told me I need to work on my “love bites,” as she says that a lot of people don’t express themselves with their teeth. I have never broken skin and I continue to learn better ways to communicate when I want attention, but my future family should know that this is a work in progress and I might forget when I get overstimulated or excited. Also, I really, really do not like dogs.

Story
Meet Blanche! Blanche joined our crew as a surrender because her previous owner could no longer care for her health needs. Right from the start, we noticed she could shed a few pounds, as her hind legs were having their own little dance party—sometimes they just didn’t want to cooperate! But guess what? This sweet girl is a total LOVEBUG! Every morning, she eagerly waits for the staff to swing by and shower her with pets and affection. The fantastic news is that she’s already lost some weight, which has helped her get around better, but she still needs a bit of extra love and care. At almost 13 years old and around 14 pounds, this adorable lady has had her share of challenges, but we’re determined to help her live her best life. Now, Miss Blanche is on the hunt for a cozy retirement home where she can bask in all the love and cuddles she deserves, along with a little help with her daily meds while she continues her treatment. If you adore older kitties as much as we do, you’ve got to come by and meet this spectacular lady today! ????

Story
Meet Judo! Judo has had quite the adventure in her short life, and she`s ready for the next chapter! Rescued alongside her siblings, each of whom found their forever homes, Judo was given a fresh start after being spayed and prepped for adoption. But her health journey took a turn before she was ready to find her match. With lots of TLC from her amazing foster mom and the dedicated shelter vet, Judo soared back to health! Her foster mom can`t stop raving about her! `She’s exceptionally clean, quiet, mild-mannered, affectionate but not needy, and just the easiest house guest I could ever ask for. She doesn’t even kick any litter out of her litter box – and if you have cats, you know what a blessing that is!` Now, this loving gal is on the lookout for her forever home once more and is happily getting cozy in a lovely office. Think you could be the perfect fit for Judo? Swing by to meet her, or give us a ring at 410-827-7178 today! She can`t wait to make a new friend!
