We rescued (literally) these two kitties on January 23rd. We went out for a walk with our dog, who is a Rottweiler, and heard a kitten in despair, we looked for the kitten who was crying and found it about 50 ft up a tree! When trying to coax the kitten out the tree, other neighbors commented that it had been up there for 2-days! We were dismayed to learn this! Anyway, we could not leave the kitty up the tree, so we hired a tree service and paid them to come get the kitty out of the tree. While waiting for the tree service another kitty popped out of a burrowed hole at the base of the tree. So, the tortie kitty was under the tree and the black kitty was up in the tree. Needless to say, we have them in our dog's crate, but our Rottie is struggling! We need to find a safe place for these kitties to go, we cannot keep them, and they are not safe with our rescue Rottie. They are as sweet as can be, very affectionate, litter trained and appear to in great health.

Just ask my foster mom; she thinks I’m awesome! I’m an active boy; let’s call me busy.  Whether it’s chores around the house, a project, or watching TV, I’ll be involved in any activity and offer helpful hints.  I get along with everyone — kids, dogs, and other cats, too.  I’m the whole package!  My energy can be kind of extra, so other pets will need to be ready for my rambunctious self. I’d love to meet you and show you all my attributes and skills.  Once I wear myself out, you’ll have a total cuddler who will catch up on the latest shows together.  So, let’s hang out and see if it’s a match! If there was an Olympic event for being totally adorable, I’d win the gold medal! I even have a sad but triumphant backstory since I was found alone as a tiny baby and bottle-fed by my first foster family. Now, I compete in the Kitty Triathlon, which involves zoomies, cat tower climbing, and chasing toys. I also tried the high dive but got disqualified (my foster mom says you should probably keep your toilet lid closed). I’m an awesome teammate, so I’d do best in a home with another kitty friend to run around with and finish my Cat Education (since I’m still a kitten myself). I also get along great with dogs and kids (age 6 and older). When it’s time to wind down and relax, I’m an expert biscuit maker! I have my own special blanket that I like to cuddle on while I make biscuits. When I’m sleepy, I look for one of my people to snuggle with.
