Story
Bonded Pair Max and Ruby are Looking for their Forever Home 😺 😺❤️ 🏠 Max and Ruby's owner relocated last month and was unable to move with them. We've been taking care of them since. No, we can't give them back. The owner doesn't want them. They're a bonded, 1-year old, brother and sister pair located in the RDU area in NC. They're looking for their forever home. Yes, they're named Max and Ruby like the cartoon 🐰🐰 I live with my husband and 2 cats and we're unable to keep 2 additional ones long-term. We're hoping to find a home for them ASAP before we fall even more in love with them. We're already getting attached! Max Max loves to explore! He's very cautious (aren't they all?) but is open to discovering new things, unlike his sister Ruby who growls at feathered wands and squeaky toys. His latest flea treatment was on 04/23. He doesn't have any fleas. This was more of a preventative application. He is neutered, and had his Rabies and Distemper (FVRCP) vaccines.

Story
This lovely boy is my 3 year old Angus. I adopted him from a woman whose cat had given birth under her house. I reared him from 7 weeks old alongside his brother, Murdoc, also pictured. Angus is a sweet, shy boy who will likely be doing a bit of hiding while he acclimates. He’s very talkative and affectionate, and his favorite place is to be cuddled up next to you. He is and always has been solely an indoor cat. His hobbies include bird watching and kneading on a willing participant’s leg. While he was raised with other cats and dogs, I think he would benefit from a home where he is the only animal. He’s a bit of a pushover, so other cats tend to bully him. That being said, I think he could get on well with a polite cat or well-behaved dog. Angus is the sweetest boy, and I’m so very sad to let him go. It’s through no fault of his own, and I only want the best for him. Hopefully he can find someone’s lap to keep warm.

Story
This distinguished gentleman is my 3 year old Murdoc. I adopted him when he was just shy of 8 weeks old, and he’s been a character his entire life. He’s bold, a little odd, and always up to something. Murdoc has a strange penchant for stealing things of like shapes, i.e. toothpicks, q-tips, and chopsticks. He’s an affectionate cat who isn’t overly clingy, so when he’s not hanging out, he’s happy to mind his own business. Murdoc is good with well-behaved dogs and friendly cats. He is and always has been solely an indoor cat. I genuinely believe Murdoc is a one of a kind cat. It is through no fault of his own that I have to let him go. Hopefully, he’ll make you laugh and ponder, too.

Story
Hailey was found badly injured under a friends car in 2020. She seemed to have been attacked by an animal and had issues with her back legs and her eyes. She is 90% blind but does have the ability to see pin needle sight. She’s a sweet and loving cat that is house trained but my older cat bullies her and causes her to not feel safe in my home.

Story
We’re looking for a good home for Sweet Dee! A one year old, orange tabby - she is full of energy, loves to play and cuddle up. She is spunky and incredibly sweet. She is good with kids and has been raised around other pets. Dee is currently an indoor kitty, but loves to explore and would do well as an indoor/outdoor pet as well! We took her in from another family with multiple pets, but unfortunately, we are unable to keep her. We think her ideal home would be a family with lots of love to give, maybe with older children who can give her lots of attention and cuddles!
