Story
She is a sweet girl that loves getting petted and brushed by trusted people, but doesn’t like being picked up or forced to cuddle. Before we adopted her, she was outdoors a lot and learned street smarts. Now, she is indoor/outdoor & loves her freedom. She doesn’t use her litter box much, preferring to go outside. She used to hunt & fight but is more mellow now. She's good at respecting our things with limited scratching of the couch but mostly uses cardboard scratchers. We got a kitten last Fall and hoped they would get along. Unfortunately, he pesters her non-stop and it seems unfair. Also, we will start a more nomadic lifestyle and she wouldn’t like travel or living in close quarters with the other cat. Feeling responsible to find her a great new home, our requirements are: 1) She must be let outside 2) She must be fed only wet food (we will donate her awesome wet food dispenser and months of her favorite food) 3) She must be the only cat/dog in the household.

Story
I have had Gunther since he was a baby and have raised him for 7 years. Throughout this time he was always a bit more of a nervous cat but incredibly loving. We have 3 other cats and he has just never managed to get along with them which is resulting in us seeking a new home for him. I absolutely love Gunther and he is such a loving and gentle cat that loves to snuggle and play. He loves to play fetch and is very chatty with everyone! He is just incredibly stressed living with other animals and certainly needs to be an only cat and an only pet for his new home. Please reach out to me with questions regarding Gunther!

Story
Snowdrop's adoption fee is sponsored for an approved adopter! Meet Snowdrop, the charming 7-year-old kitty with a heart as pure as her snowy white (and black!) fur. Snowdrop is seeking an adoptive home where she can share her boundless love and affection. Snowdrop's temperament is as sweet as can be. She adores snuggling up with her favorite blankies, indulging in delicious meals, and basking in grooming sessions Despite her special needs, including bladder and bowel expressions 2-3 times a day, Snowdrop's gentle nature and loving personality shine through. She thrives on routine care, including full or half baths with assistance using the litter box, and her area fur trim helps her stay clean and comfortable. Remarkably calm during face washes and nail trims, Snowdrop's purrs of contentment will melt your heart. Additionally, Snowdrop is on a prescription diet and medication for seizures three times a day.Snowdrop currently lives with other cats and does well, but she would also be perfectly content as the sole feline companion in your home. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loving companion, Snowdrop is eagerly waiting to become your forever snuggle buddy. We are dedicated to Snowdrop's success and want to ensure that she thrives in her adoptive home. She is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt! ___________________________Ten Lives’ Foster-to-Adopt program gives potential adopters the opportunity to interact and bond with a cat in a home setting prior to making a lifelong commitment. This program is a great way to see a cat’s true personality and watch how they integrate into your household. Please note, only cats listed as foster-to-adopt are eligible for this program. How does it work?Foster-to-Adopt applicants are approved through our normal adoption process and based on the specific needs of the cat. Once approved, you will bring home your new friend and have 30 days to determine whether they are a perfect fit for you and your family. During the 30-day foster-to-adopt period, you will be responsible for providing food and litter; however, Ten Lives will provide outstanding veterinary care at a partner veterinarian. Please note: Ten Lives will not cover care provided by a non-partner veterinarian. Please take this into consideration when submitting a foster-to-adopt application. At the end of the 30 days, you can make the adoption official by signing an adoption agreement and paying the adoption fee or you can return the cat to the care of Ten Lives. If you wish to continue fostering until adoption, Ten Lives will list the cat for adoption on their website and social media pages! Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in fostering-to-adopt from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/foster-to-adopt/___________________________ABOUT TEN LIVES:Ten Lives is a foster-based program and does NOT have a brick and mortar facility with regular visiting hours. We are a 100% volunteer-powered organization and require an approved adoption application prior to scheduling meet and greets with animals. This is out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, as well as helping to ensure our animals are matched to the homes that best meet their needs. We require that all applicants have a satisfactory veterinary reference and provide proof of homeownership OR landlords approval. We will contact all applicants who meet our minimum requirements within 96 business hours of receiving your application. During kitten season wait times may be longer. We ask for your patience as we are all volunteers! All Ten Lives cats are spayed/neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Meow there, my name is Walter and I am a chatty 3 year old happy boy who is ready for my next adventure in life! I love to explore all the fun things in your home, and never say no to a good catnip mousey to bring out my inner tiger! My other hobbies include bird watching from my cat condo, trying to master my food puzzle, and getting closer to my goal of catching that feather wand that keeps flying by me! You may remember when I arrived to Ten Lives after having emergency surgery. Thanks to the support of so many wonderful people, I am thriving after my surgery where I lost about 50% of my colon. You can now find me supervising the bird feeder on the window, snuggling with my person, or simply doing my rounds around the house to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing has changed from 5 minutes ago. A home that can give me lots of love and attention is all I could ever want. But I still enjoy some mischief, so please house-proof and make sure sweet temptations, like string, are nowhere in sight. I can't wait for my forever home. Ready for a playful, outgoing and energetic boy to keep you on your toes? Pawsome, let's meet soon!  I am now accepting adoption applications, available below!Walter has a heart gallop that requires no additional medication or testing at this time, but it should be monitored annually. He is also on a prescription diet which he should continue on - Hill's Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome Digestive/Fiber Care.___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Story
Let's spring into the warmer weather together, just you and me! Vixen here, and I am a tricolour happy girl just under 8 years old who adores attention, pets, and brushing sessions! I am soft and snuggly, but will also give you your space and do my own thing! I would love a home with a kitty condo where I can watch the birds fly by and keep an eye on the outdoor squirrels. I'm selective about feline friends but with the right introduction might be ok. I am currently on a urinary diet that I will need to remain on to keep me happy and healthy. I can't wait to read all my adoption applications, available below!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives!
