Tito-Chihuahua Long haired male ~5 yr. (Aug. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Tito came to Rescue when her owner could no longer care for her and his girlfriend, Tiki. Her husband and father are very ill and she doesn't have the time that these 2 beauties need, to be a good home for them. Tito is good with other dogs. We have been told he is housetrained. Long-Haired Chihuahuas are known for their affectionate nature and bond closely with their owners. Despite their tiny size, they have big hearts and love to cuddle and be close to their humans. This breed is often seen as a lap dog, as they enjoy sitting on their owner's lap for hours on end. Chihuahuas are low-shedding dogs, making them less likely to trigger allergies compared to larger, higher-shedding breeds. However, it's important to note that neither short nor long-haired Chihuahuas are hypoallergenic. Tito's adoption fee is $400 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption. I was found as a stray in rural Alabama. Not much is known about my past but that’s ok. I’m looking towards the future! I’m a very timid girl who will need a patient adopter. Also, I would do best with a doggie sibling to help me be more comfortable and a fenced in yard. I do well with my foster cat siblings. I love being outside and rolling in the grass. My foster mom thinks it’s adorable that I collect toys and such from the yard and pile them up in my outside safe space. I’m still learning how to be a dog and a house princess but I’ll get there! I’m working on house training. I haven’t chewed anything up. I’m a sweet girl who will just need some time to adjust.

That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- SOLOMON IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR DOG. Solomon is a 7-year-old min pin and chihuahua mix I believe, and he loves to sing.  He loves to listen to music and some of his favorite artists are Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Drake. Solomon is house broken and loves to sit and watch people out of the front door and windows.  He loves being outside and loves walks in the park and around the neighborhood.  Solomon does not tear things up like mail, toilet paper, socks, or trash.  He also loves to cuddle and be rubbed.  Solomon hates baths and water but I give him a bath anyway telling him that he has to be clean. He loves treats and his favorite treat is duck wrapped sweet potato from Wal Mart.  Solomon loves bones and his favorite toy is Lamb Chop or any bear that he can tussle with.   Solomon does growl sometimes when he sees other dogs and cats. He also runs after birds if he sees them and barks. Slow introductions are needed with dogs, cats, and children. Rescue stepped in at the last moment and we are so happy we did. He is perfectly housebroken, up to date on all his shots, loves other dogs, cats, has shown himself to be fine with children. In short, he is the whole package of a great dog! The part about loving other dogs? He was living with his best friends, Kyler, Mackie, and Nala when his world crashed. They all loved each other  and did perfectly together. If you were thinking of getting a pair of dogs (or more?), here they are, ready made and easy.
