Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › HOARDING SURVIVORButler came to us as part of an operation in where 145 dogs and one kitten were rescued out of a 'house' in Florida. They were living in terrible conditions. But this pup seems to be resilient and eager to live a full life with someone that is willing to give him a chance. At 14 pounds and approximately 4 years old, Butler is starting to blossom in his foster home! He actually warmed up pretty quickly and will now come when his name is called. He loves getting the zoomies in the backyard with his fellow foster friends, so he would love to have a dog buddy or two to pal around with in his new home.Because of his prior living conditions, Butler is not used to the workings of a 'normal' household - everything is new, so he likes to check it all out to see what it's all about; supervision is key until the newness of homelife wears off.Butler is affenctionate and sweet and will make an absolute fabulous friend for his new family. Keep in mind, though, that anything new may be startling to Bulter - patience and time are everything to a charmer like Bulter. You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 24, 2025, 10:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › 10 year old Freya joined the Pawfect Match family with three of her adult children, after being rescued from living outside under a shed. Freya has proven to be a fun, loving, and fun loving little lady! You'd never guess she's a senior as you watch her tear through the backyard PLAYING FETCH!!! This 9 pound girl is a professional snuggler and champion burrower - you'll find her curled up under her blankets in true chihuahua fashion. Freya is great with confident cats, but if a shy kitty approaches, she'll take the opportunity to chase. She recently upgraded her inner circle to include dogs outside of her superior chihuahua breed!!! She initially snubbed all non-chihuahuas, but she finally realizes that an inclusive world is much much better.  Freya WILL NOT potty in the rain, so she uses a potty-system on the screened porch on rainy days....or when the grass is too wet haha!Freya is intimidated by very young children, so a home with older kids (~8yo and up) will be best. DON'T MISS your chance to bring this rockstar into your family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › This dainty lady came to us as part of an operation in which over 130 pets were rescued from a house in Florida. They were living in terrible conditions. This resilient pup is eager to live a full life with someone who is willing to give her a chance. Melly needs to learn to trust humans and love them. With time and patience, she will blossom into the best companion! Update: Millie(Melly) has made a lot of progress since I became her foster mom in October. She is crate trained and house broken. She doesn’t stay in her crate now. She moves around the house independently. She was skittish toward other dogs but now is fine around them. Even plays some with my son’s dog. Took her a while but finely plays with and chews on her toys. She has a sweet personality and quickly becoming the little princess of the house.  Update: Melly joined our household in February. She is shy, but warming up! Loves to share the couch with humans, cats, and a dog of her size. She goes to an off leash dog park where she is quite timid, especially around larger dogs. Melly is basically house broken, but seldom cues that she needs to go out. My deer head chihuahua is her personal trainer! She will do well in a home with another small dog that knows the routine.  You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 22, 2025, 9:33 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Bea is estimated to be between 10-15 years old and weighs in at a whopping 6 pounds! Bea has patellar luxation, causing her back legs to be quite bowed. Bea receives Librella injections once monthly to help with her arthritis. In the future Bea will require a mobility aid to get around. Bea has only a few teeth, so her food must be soaked in water before serving. Bea also has a condition called micro-opthamalia meaning her right eye is small and does not naturally produce lubricant. Because of this she must get lubricant drops twice daily, and sometimes you also need to use a wet cloth to remove some crust from her eye. Due to Bea’s age she will not be spayed so it is imperative that she is not in contact with unaltered male dogs - this also means Bea will continue to experience a heat cycle. Despite her age and disabilities, Bea is just getting started with her new life! She is nervous around new people at first, but will quickly become your shadow and demand to sit on your lap. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and even cats. She is crate trained and does know to go potty outdoors, but does wear diapers inside due to her age. Beatriz and roughly 150 other dogs were rescued by Animal Rescue Corp from a hoarding case in Madison, FL.  You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoption Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 10:48 am

Story
We rescued Peanut almost 8 years ago when he was around 2 or 3. For years he was a cuddly, quirky dog. Over the past few years, he has become increasingly adverse to leaving his pen and going outside. As a result, he began using the bathroom in the house. Also when our pet sitter tried to get him out of the closet to go outside, he hit her. He also bit me when I tried to clip his nails. And most recently tried to bite my son when my husband put Peanut on our sons lap. He bit my husband instead. Currently, Peanut stays in his pen and goes outside to potty and then wants to quickly return to his pen. The vet informed us that Peanut's aggression is most likely a result of pain or sickness. I gave him gabapentin, but it doesn't seem to do much for him. I feel that he couldn't possibly be happy living in a pen. We are strongly considering euthanasia, but wanted to give him one more chance.

Story
Free to a good home. Her name is Willow. She is two years old, She needs a yard to run and play in because she's very energetic and playful. Unfortunately living in an apartment is not good for her. She does take a little bit to warm up to new people and new pets, but once you're not considered a stranger she'll warm up to you and loves on you. It breaks our hearts to let this girl we love go but it's really what's best for her.

Story
Bobbi is a senior long hair chihuahua with good energy for her age. She loves to snuggle, sit on laps and short walks through nature. She is a very food driven dog and will eat to her hearts content if you let her. I found Bobbi on pet finder when she was 5. She’s been a very sweet and loving companion the 7 years I’ve had her. Unfortunately, my circumstances are changing and I need to find her a new home.
