a gold medal pup seeking forever home!! RUPERT NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Rupert Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua and terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 8 months as of July 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 14.8 lbs as of July 2024; he likely has a bit more to grow. Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats but he can be tested. We would be cautious placing Rupert in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare small breed dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to ensure their interactions with the dog are calm and gentle in nature. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. Rupert has all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures his new humans can dream up. Squeaky plush toys, ropes for tug, balls for fetch 0 he'd like to try those, too, and see what he likes. Cushy dog bed, couch cushion, warm lap - same thing here, he'd like to test out all of those! In exchange, he promises to give you all the adoring gazes he's storing up, to make you laugh, and to always be your loyal companion. What do you say? Is that a fair trade? What My Foster Says About Me: If they gave out medals for being an all-around good pup, Rupert would win the gold! He plays with gusto with other young dogs, but is respectful of my senior dog. Rupert frequently asks for cuddles and then easily falls asleep in your lap. He loves going on walks and playing with toys. Rupert is learning to sit nicely when asked and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is definitely a gold medal pup! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
