Story
Peabody's journey began when he was discovered as a stray, wandering the streets alone. After spending five days in "doggie jail," he found his way to the rescue  in search of a loving forever home. This charming pup is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, ready to embark on the next chapter of his life. Described as a good boy with a heart full of love and energy, Peabody thrives in the company of an active family who can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. He's adept at navigating the ins and outs of home life, being house, crate, and doggie door trained. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he's known to get along well with female dogs. However, Peabody does have a tendency to engage in fence fights with other dogs in his vicinity, which may require some training and supervision to manage. Despite this challenge, his affectionate nature shines through, making him a delightful companion for the right family. Since October of 2022, Peabody has been patiently waiting for his perfect match at the rescue, eager to find a forever home where he can shower his new family with love and joy. ##1563395##

Story
My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. I have so much to offer, and I hope to find that special someone who can provide me with the forever home I've been searching for.  Please fill out an application for me at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet me, please call 720 588-6809. ##2096191##

Story
Meet Alissa Denton, a sweet and gentle soul who will melt your heart with her sensitive nature. This petite pup is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates quiet moments and tender cuddles. Alissa may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be your loyal and loving friend for life. Due to her initial shyness, any kids in the home should be 10+ and able to go slow with her in the beginning. She warms up quickly and then loves to lean in for pets and be at your side! If you’re looking for a devoted and affectionate companion, Alissa Denton is ready to fill your life with love! What I Need In a Home:* Kids 10+ mandatory

We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Matilda, or Tilly as we call her, has such a gentle soul. She is so beautiful, inside and out, and has found her confidence. She is the smallest of the litter, and you can tell when you watch her that she is a thinker. She loves getting snuggles more than anything, but is patient and waits her turn. She is gentle (she never has gone through a mouthy phase at all) and kind and just wants love and affection more than anything else (except maybe food!). Tilly loves to wrestle and chew on bones, adventure outside, and meet every person that come near her. She walks well on the leash, knows "sit", and is almost house trained! She is so intelligent and has that silly independent streak that reminds you that she is smart. Tilly has been well socialized with other dogs and children and people, so her confidence and friendliness has expanded tenfold. She is going to be an incredible addition to any family unit and will be an intelligent and mindful little girl.

Story
Clancy is the most amazing dog and is very well-loved. He is great with people, and very affectionate. He does not do well with other dogs due to some traumatic experiences where he was bitten by off-leash dogs on walks (more than once!). Unfortunately, our work schedule has changed and we cannot give him the exercise and attention he needs any more.
