Story
Wrangler is such a sweet little cuddle bug! When he’s not playing or eating, he wants to be curled up for a nap right next to one of his foster parents. He loves playing with toys, but chewing on bones is his favorite. He doesn’t destructively chew things in the house and lets us know when he needs to go out, but he’s still learning basic commands and how to walk on leash. He has quickly come to love his crate, he goes in it on his own accord during the day to nap. He’s good with other dogs and is very respectful of their space. Wrangler is a sweet, curious, and playful little pup! ##2276892##

Story
My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. I have so much to offer, and I hope to find that special someone who can provide me with the forever home I've been searching for.  Please fill out an application for me at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet me, please call 720 588-6809. ##2096191##

Story
Riley is a purebred Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) she's the smaller size at about 40lbs. She is a super sweet loving dog, and perfect for a single-dog family with older kids who won't pick on her. She is an amazing companion for hiking, running, and any adventure. Like all Heelers she is very territorial, we have been working on training with her for the past 2 months, she has come a long way but still needs some work, she is crate and house-trained, but still has issues jumping up and licking your face. She loves to fetch but needs to be managed because she will play until she makes herself sick. We are trying to find someone who understands heelers and their needs so she can find her forever home, she's a nervous little dog and will nip (as heelers do) but she seems to nip a little more than we are used to. She is free to a good home, she was spayed in October, and we spoil her with her food, I'm happy to share our homemade recipe if needed. Thank you!

Story
Stitch is a 3 year old Border Collie/ Newfoundland mix that weighs 85lbs. He’s extremely sweet and loves cuddling with people and getting his belly rubbed. He’s great with people, kids, and strangers. He loves running (he’s done 12 milers with my wife), swimming, fetch, hiking, and laying in the snow. He’s very smart and has learned so much through training. He’s crate-trained and house broken, and knows sit, stay, down, leave it, out (drop the ball), and has great recall. Stitch has so much personality--he grumbles when he wants you to pet him and will put his paw on your leg to let you know he needs more. He’s recently discovered treat puzzles and loves them! He hasn’t quite figured out the Level 4 puzzles yet, but he’s getting good with Level 3. Stitch loves to chase squirrels, but will leave them alone if you recall him. Stitch is an amazing dog, and would be happiest in a home where he is the only dog. He knows furniture boundaries, but would happily cuddle with you if you let him
