Are you looking for an ebony hunk of handsome? With good manners thrown in as well?  How about loyal and true?  If you answered yes, look no further! You have found your guy!  Pepper’s my name and charming is my game!  Add a little spice to your life by adopting me, Pepper!  You can’t go wrong adding me to your family!  I am waiting patiently! So, you are probably wondering how such a handsome guy like me found himself looking for love?  All too common of a story in this day and age – taken to the shelter when my previous owners were “moving.”  But don’t feel sorry for me, I am one of the lucky ones!  You see, I was taken in by guardians of four legged furries known to all canines as the defenders of dogs and to humans as the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno and the rest is history!   I have a loving foster home while I await finding my forever family to love!  And I should add by adopting me you free up a much-needed space to allow the rescue of an overwhelming number of dogs that need saving.  That’s rescue times two! You should know inside this handsome ebony body lies a happy heart of pure gold.  I love people of all shapes and sizes – especially ones that throw tennis balls!  Like all Labs, I love to swim, walk, and chase a ball.  I’ll get you out of the house!  Couple that with perfect house manners and stunningly handsome big boy body, you can’t go wrong!  I am just waiting here for you to come so we can start our new life!  PS.  I promise I will never drop you off at the shelter – I am loyal and true through and through!  Pepper is available for adoption through the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno.  He is loving and good with people but prefers to be your only king of the house. He is house-trained and respectful of the home.  He loves to play fetch, swim, and go for walks.  In return, he is a happy boy who is very loyal to his people and loves to be the four-legged love of their life.   If you have room in your heart and home, you can’t go wrong with this man’s best friend dog.  If you would like to adopt Pepper, please fill out an application at our website: https://www.LabRescueFresno.Org If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped. Giraffe or Labrador mix puppy? Look at those legs and you decide! Meet Finn! Finn is a sweet, rambunctious labrador mix puppy. Although at first glance he might not look like most Labs, his personality is bursting with classic lab traits. He loves to fetch and run around the yard with toys or chew on sticks he collects. Zoomies are one of Finn's favorite activities. He loves to zip around the yard at lightning speed. He plays and interacts beautifully with other dogs, both big and small. Finn loves to cuddle, especially if there are blankets involved! He loves to hoard blankets in his crate. That's right, this beautiful boy is already crate trained and house trained. He has not had a single accident while he has lived with his foster family! His personality and adaptability are incredible enough on their own, but more so when you consider his humble start. He came to LRRF from Bakersfield, where he was found dumped and starving with his mother. Through work, persistence and love, this little guy has come so far! He will be a dream dog for any family that decides to give him that fresh start in life that he so desperately needs and deserves. If you’re interested in adopting Finn, please fill out an adoption application today! He is truly a special puppy, who has overcome so much and he can't wait to join his forever family! https://labrescuefresno.org/adoption-application/ If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped. It takes time to get to know him as He can be fearful and slow to interact with new people. However, he is loving and playful with his foster parents and family members. The start of his story is a bit scary and dramatic. He was on his way to the stockade, by no fault of his own. When, just in time, a Good Samaritan swooped into the rescue like a helicopter. He was delivered to the safety and protection of the defenders of dogs, the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. Hawkeye is now living in a foster home with two adult dogs.  He’s a bit too rough with the cat so he would do best in a home without a cat. He sleeps in his bed in the foster’s room at night. He has great house manners and does well in a crate.   He loves being outdoors and has learned to ring a bell at the door when he wants outside.   Hawkeye is slow to be comfortable with new people but playful with humans he knows and can play on his own with toys.  He has medium to high energy so he likes to stay busy between naps.  His current hobbies are, playing with his foster’s two dogs, running, exploring, and chewing sticks.  According to his foster Mom, he is sweet, smart, endlessly entertaining, happy, adventurous and athletic.  All puppies will be up to date on their age-appropriate vaccinations as well as being spayed, neutered and microchipped. Please remember that our goal is to find the best possible forever home for each and every dog so it is not a first come first serve situation. It is also important to add that a puppy can be up to a 15 year commitment and most labs have puppyish qualities for up to and sometimes beyond 2 years. An active family (children 6+) willing to take the time, patience, and commitment to work with a pup is important. Like all young Labs, training and regular exercise are essential to a happy, healthy pup. If you would like Hawkeye to be part of your family, please fill out an application  If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped. Meet Willow, a 7-year-old gentle soul with a heart of gold! Don't let her age fool you - this sweet girl is still young at heart and full of life. Willow is a dream companion: easy-going, lovable, calm, and playful. She adores: Playing fetch (and actually bringing the ball back!) Going for walks and car rides Playing with other dogs Chasing hose water (her absolute favorite game!) This well-behaved beauty loves to cuddle and will give you the best of both worlds - playtime and snuggles! Willow is housebroken, knows basic commands, and is a social girl. She'll alert you to visitors but don't worry, she's just excited to meet new friends! After being surrendered due to her previous owner's illness, Willow's world was turned upside down. But she's rediscovered her sparkle with time, patience, and love from her foster family and canine companions! Thanks to the gentle guidance and support of her foster family and furry friends, Willow has blossomed into a confident, playful, and affectionate companion. She's a social butterfly who thrives on canine camaraderie, and would love to join a family with other dogs to share in the fun! Willow does have some allergies, but a simple allergy pill keeps her scratching and itchy ears under control. Other than that, she's in perfect health! If you're looking for a loyal companion to share in your adventures, Willow is your perfect friend!
