Story
Hi new family! My name is Porter. I live in Florida & my family adopted me as a puppy 5 years ago. I’m about 30lbs now. I loveee love love being snuggled & giving all of the kisses. I’m currently looking for a new family to live with because mine has 2 little kids and I’m not the biggest fan of children. They are too loud and crazy and am super nervous around little kids who don’t know how to respect me and my personal space. I prefer teenagers & adults who know not to get in my face. My favorite thing to do is lay in the sun, run around outside in the backyard, and to snuggle with my humans, preferably on the couch! I love my crate & all of my dog beds. I have a doggie sister so I do like other dogs, but probably not the best dog to bring to dog parks because I get really really excited at first. I know sit, stay, shake, & am crate & potty trained.

Story
Lacey is a true little princess. She is the most loving, sweet dog but she just doesnt get along with other dogs. She loves to play, and snuggle. We have a 11yo male as well (he is neutered). When we lived in NY we had the ability to keep them separate. When they would be together they would be fine for a couple of days and then go at it randomly. We moved down to Florida in april. Everything seemed ok, but within 2 weeks of us being down here it happened again. We have a baby gate and i rotate them during the day. Its become alot on me but i do it. I am now pregnant and she is becoming more and more territorial over me. She went after my male again while we were sleeping. I dont want to see either of them hurt and its very hard to keep them seperate 24-7. She is my world and reserves the best. I hate to even have to think of this, but she would thrive in a home where she was an “only child” and received all of the love and attention herself.

Story
Josiah is a great dog. We wish we could keep him, but we had to downsize & in the smaller space, my wife has begun to show symptoms of allergies to dogs. It has become a strain on her health. Cuddly, playful, calm & sweet tempered. Great with dogs, people & kids. Loves to run! Very strong "athletic" dog with a thin, muscular physique like a sprinter. Great each dog. Loves walks, fetch & pleasing his master. We adopted Josiah 4 years ago. Prior to us adopting him, he spent the 1st year of his life living in the woods with his 2 brothers. He was sweet and calm and a little timid when we first met at the rescue. The timidity wore off quickly and he nearly doubled in size in the first year, but the sweetness and calmness never changed. He has always gotten along perfectly with dogs, but prefers the company of people. The only concerns are cats, & that small children (toddlers and younger) make him nervous, & he has nipped our daughter a few times when she messed with him but no harm done.

Story
I’ve had Angel since a puppy. She is friendly with people. As far as having her in a home with another dog, Angel is territorial and needs to be separated while eating. She would do well being an only dog. While taking a walk she is fine with other dogs. She may want to meet the dog. It’s just her domain, she will become territorial. Angel is very sweet dog and very affectionate. Enjoys her walks. Also at the same time she is a couch potato.
