Hi there, I am Gunner- it is a pleasure to meet you! I am a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who was lost on the streets, that is how I ended up at MSC. No one ever came from me, so now the nice folks of MSC are trying to help me find a new family who will love me forever. I am only 50lbs, which makes me the perfect pocket pitty! I really enjoy being around people and playing outside. I would love to go everywhere with you if I could. Cuddling on the couch and giving you kisses are some of my favorite things to do. I'd love to be the only doggo in your life! No other dogs, cats, or kids, please.

Friends, meet Dewey! He is a gentle giant that has the sweetest face you will ever see. He will be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your protector. He loves everyone he meets and enjoys playing outside with other dogs. His BFF in his foster home is a teenage boy and they love hanging out in the basement together! Dewey has learned about his size and coordination and is good with children of all ages. If he see's anyone sitting down, he immediately thinks that is an invitation for a rest in your lap. Dewey is fully housebroken and knows how to use a doggy door. He is very talkative and will be sure to let you know if someone is trying to sneak into your yard! He absolutely loves to play in the pool, especially when he gets to splash around with his doggy friends. He has made doggy friends of all sizes, all the way from 12lbs up to 100lbs. He has also been working on his manners as he loves to jump up and give lots of kisses. Thankfully, he's very smart and treat-motivated, so a few treats will go a long way when it comes to training Dewey!

His friendly nature is infectious, making friends with every wag of his tail. Valley is a very cuddly companion, his soft fur a comfort to anyone lucky enough to be embraced by his hugs. He's playful and smart, quickly learning new tricks and commands. His affectionate nature and intelligence make him a delightful companion. Adopting Valley means gaining a loyal friend, a playful and companion. Valley is selective with his dog friends and prefers a home without cats and would do best with older children. Max is a big boy with a huge heart! He's best described as a super cuddly couch potato. He does great in his kennel and stays very quiet and clean. He has not been around children before, so we're unsure what he would think of them. He was very interested in the resident cats while on furlough and seemed to want to play, but he did not get the opportunity to interact with them. He can be mildly dominant around new dogs, but he quickly calms down and becomes very dorky and playful.

Bob is seeking a fellow social butterfly to be his human. If you are a person who works from home, is retired, can take your dog to work, or maybe you take your dogs to doggie daycare then this is the dog for you. Bob loves being out in public, or having friends over. Whether human or dog, Bob is going to want to meet them and be their friend. His best friend, Mala is a dominant girlie and that doesn't bother him in the least. He happily plays with all dogs, regardless of sex or age. Bob does not discriminate. He is a very patient, tolerant soul regardless of others play style. Bob is potty trained, and will go in a kennel but does have separation anxiety and can be destructive if left alone. He really needs to be with people or his K9 friends at all times. They make him feel safe and secure. Bob's lucky adopter will receive 4 free training sessions from the Confident Canine KC. He does well in the car. Enjoys all toys; balls, bones, squeaky toys, ropes. Again, Bob does not discriminate. He could live with a cat, he won't hurt them because he's a very gentle guy. But he does bark at them. Bob is not for everyone. But for the right family he is perfect.

Meet Jasper, the most handsome, happy, wriggly, goofy, quirky boy! Jasper is submissive by nature with a sweet disposition. He is still learning to understand instructions and corrections but earnestly tries to please his people. After a life without a home, Jasper is still learning to trust people, but he's very sweet and cuddly once he has a bit of trust in someone. Jasper enjoys playing with other dogs and is capable of adjusting his play style based on their size. Although he hasn't had the chance for contact play, he loves playing with the neighbor's Dachshund through the fence and does not appear to have a small-animal prey drive. He is super sweet and polite but hasn't been around cats or children before. He might be most successful in a home without small children because he doesn't always realize he's not a tiny little lap dog! Jasper keeps his kennel clean and is fully potty trained. He is leash trained and also knows basic commands. He's super smart and highly food motivated. This boy loves loves LOVES to play (especially with balls, playing fetch!) and would appreciate a doggie sibling or two and a fenced yard. He has a medium energy level (sometimes high when he's excited) but kennels well. Jasper will be a wonderful addition to a loving home!
