Story
I inquired Koda at 7 months, he will be 3 years old April 20th. He is a very energetic dog , he enjoys running, being outside, and the cold. We want him to go somewhere with a big yard, he loves going on walks and enjoys going on car rides! He is an indoor dog and kennel trained. I unfortunately can’t keep him due to having a new born. We noticed his behavior change being more jumpy and lunges towards the baby when she is playing or screaming. We have tried correcting him and haven’t had success. Unfortunately, she will be crawling soon and don’t want to risk anything.

Story
I may be 10, but I like to think of myself as senior in high school, so handsome and young-looking! I’m also just learning how to be a dog! Toys and bones have become some of my favorite things along with lots of love. I really enjoy walks 2 miles is great and my foster mom says I’m great on a leash if you don’t mind me exploring both sides of the sidewalk. Since I came to KC REGAP in January, I’ve learned that most humans are actually really nice and now I love to meet new people; I get so excited! I’m not sure about other dogs along the sidewalk, and I definitely don’t do well with small dogs or cats. In the backyard, you won’t find me doing zoomies yet; I haven’t quite figured that out. However, I have discovered my voice and love to let you hear it when I get excited or am ready to play! I’m super gentle with treats!  I am learning the rules of the house and have done okay with my foster sister, but my mom says I would really do well as an only dog! That way I get to get all the attention. My ideal household would be one with older human siblings (teenage+) or adults. Patience is key with me as I’m still adjusting my personal space; but I will lean in real hard (almost knocking you over) as I show you affection! Story
Hi there, I’m Kip, your future best friend! I am a happy-go-lucky guy who gets along great with my foster dog brothers and have gotten a pretty good hang of doing the potty thing outside. I am a pro at keeping the yard safe – no squirrel or bird is getting past me without a very serious chase (I’m fast, don’t underestimate me)! When I’m not patrolling the perimeter, you’ll find me following you around like a little shadow, just hoping for some human love. I’m very into pets, belly rubs and the occasional zoomies to let off all that excitement. I enjoy going for walks, but when it’s time to relax, I’m laid-back and totally chill. I will pretty much sleep on anything, but don’t be surprised if I sneak into your bed for some cozy snuggles— I’m just living my best life. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, happy companion, who will make you laugh and keep you on your toes with my squirrel – chasing antics, I might just be your guy! We adopt within 1 1/2 hours of Kansas City.    November 30, 2024, 5:23 pm
