Story
Porter is all healed up and has gained the weight he needed to become a healthy and happy boy. This handsome teen is all ready to find a home of his own. Porter is a small guy, around 40 lbs. He would love a home with another dog to romp around with. He is a teen and would benefit from a home that will work on manners and training. He can be a bit of a butt with being mouthy which we are working on. Otherwise he is a really great boy. Older children over 10 because of this. He loves going for walks and wearing clothes. He is a typical younger pittie who will invade your personal space and not let you go to the bathroom alone. Did we mention how handsome he is? Porter is up to date on his annual vaccines, microchipped, will be neutered next week, 4DX negative and on preventives. If you are interested in applying to adopt Porter just visit our website to submit an application to adopt. www.outcastrescue.com Kennel License 16187 Catasauqua, PA November 26, 2024, 11:57 am

Story
Meet Zeebo. This handsome Cane Corso mix has been with us since he was just 5 weeks old after suffering abuse at the hands of his breeder. Zeebo is looking for his forever home and it needs to be a special one. Zeebo is reserved and it takes him a moment to warm up to new people. Because of this we want to see a breed experienced home. A home that will socialize him properly and take him to training. Zeebo loves other dogs. He is going to be a big dog as the breed typically is.  Please visit our website to submit an application  to adopt www.outcastrescue.com  You must be over 21 and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PAJanuary 19, 2025, 7:46 am

Story
About a month ago we welcomed Beatrice, formerly Penny of the Newark shelter, to Outcast. We wanted to get to know her before we posted her. Beatrice is a senior gal at 12 years old. Sadly her owner passed away and she found herself in a scary place. Don't let the number 12 fool you, this old gal has a lot of pep left in her step. She was treated on intake for an upper respiratory she acquired from being in the shelter and we are currently treating her skin for an infection. Her senior panel of blood work came back just fine. Beatrice loves the kids in her foster home and she happily escorts them each morning to catch the bus. She is also good with the resident dogs in the foster home. We would love to see Beatrice find a place she can retire, live out the rest of her golden years. She is a true gem. Let's share Beatrice and help find her a forever home. Story
Meet Mabel the former puppy mill mom. This 7 year old girl lived her life in Amish Country in a kennel used for one reason and one reason only - to pump out puppies. No life for any dog. Mabel came to us filthy and shutdown. She has spent the past month in foster with other dogs and kids. She quickly came out of her shell with them and is proving to be a pretty awesome dog. Mable is crate trained, kid friendly and dog friendly but prefers a more laid back companion. She has seen the cat in the home and has not cared at all. She is house broken also. She comes off shy at first but warms up and wants to be with her people. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
