Story
Meet Miss Callie! This girl is as sweet as they come! Her story did not start out so good though. A good samaritan found her and her 4 puppies in a sewerage drain in a rural town in Tx on the Mexico border. She was very fearful of humans and with good reason. The kids and adults in the area treated this family horribly while they were on the streets. One thing we do know for a fact was that she was shot by someone. In order to get this family to safety, Callie had to be shot with a tranquilizer gun because she was so fearful. Thank God those days are behind her now!! She has absolutely blossomed with her current foster. Callie is a little standoffish with strangers, so she will just need a family that is patient and will allow her a couple days to open up. She loves to play with other dogs and is a great cuddler! She has done well with children, cats are unknown but she is pretty laid back. Story
Meet Tucker!! This adorable little guy was found as a stray back in Jan in a rural part of Tx. We had him placed with a foster until we could complete his vetting & to social him with other people and animals. Mr Tucker made his way to NJ Mar 8th and it was a few days later that we noticed he was limping. We had him seen by our vet when it was discovered that he had a broken leg. He was than taken to an orthopedic on 03/19 and his surgery was scheduled for the following week. Tucker has completely healed and has been cleared by the orthopedic for adoption! Tucker is now 8 1/2 mos old, he is fully vetted (vacs/neutered/chip). Tucker is great with other dogs, totally fine with cats, and good with kids. He is a mix of 4 breeds and given that 2 of those are herding breeds, a home with kids 8 yrs and older would be best. If you would like to make this sweet boy a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS STRONGLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX DNA CONFIRMED** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Story
Meet Cocoa! This sweet girl has not had the best life up to this point. Sweet Cocoa was found in an abandoned house along with her 2 sisters and her 2 puppies. They had been there for about 2 wks without food or water when their "owner" moved out and left them behind. All 5 girls had Demodex mange, Cocoa and Abby having it the worst missing 1/2 the hair over their entire body. Cocoa had to stay behind with her foster a little bit longer to heal. She has recovered and has been in NJ a couple of weeks now in search of her new family. Miss Cocoa is initially very reserved with new people/situations but does quickly warm up. Cocoa is a petite little 30 lbs, she is now 2 1/2 yrs old and fully vetted (spayed/vacs/chipped). She would be fine in a home with or without other dogs, she doesn't care about cats either. Given how reserved she is, we feel a home without small children would be best for her. A home with kids 8 and over will be required. She is housebroken and does fine with or without a crate. If you would like to add this super sweet girl to your home, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS STRONGLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX DNA PENDING** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Story
Meet Daisy!! Even though she was in the shelter for a while, we couldn't pass up this adorable girl, she is all personality! Daisy was picked up as a stray back in Jan when she was just 6 mos old. A local rescue we work with often pulled her before she was euthanized. They reached out to multiple rescues but we were the only one who saw her potential. Do you like to walk/jog or run? THIS is your girl!! Daisy has a good mix energy and chill but would do best in a home that is active. Daisy is 10 1/2 mos old, fully vetted (spayed/vacs/chipped), she is housebroken and does ok in the crate, but she is not a fan at all. She is fantastic with other dogs, doesn't care about cats, and is good with kids. She would do best in a home that has another dog for her to play with, No little dogs or seniors as she is too active for them. If you would like to add this super sweet girl to your home, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD OR ACTIVE (RUNNER/HIKER/WALKER/JOGGER) FAMILY IS REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX DNA PENDING** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Story
Asher is a quiet, gentle and independent dog looking for a special someone to spend his days with. He is an adult male and is good with other dogs that are more laid back making he a good fit for a senior dog, making him a great addition to your family or a lovely companion for a solo adventurer. Asher is a well-mannered dog with a heart of gold and a soul that's as gentle as they come. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Asher is the one for you. Please consider adopting Asher, he's more than ready to shower you with unconditional love and loyalty once he learns to trust you.
