Story
Hope was dumped by her owner and wondered streets for several weeks before being caught by animal control. She was in pretty rough shape, so thin that you were able to see her ribs and her spine. What was also discovered was that she was pregnant, but how far was unknown. She spent a week with a foster before being flown up to NJ. She was here for just 1 week before she gave birth to a beautiful litter of 5 puppies! All of her babies have long been adopted and Hope is still here patiently waiting for her furever family to come along. This super sweet energetic girl is almost 3 yrs old & fully vetted (all shots/spayed/microchipped). Hope has A LOT of love to give & would do best in a home with an owner who can handle this big girl. She will also need home that has a nice fenced in yard for her to run around in. She is great with other dogs closer to her size but seems to be more selective with smaller dogs. She is good with cats inside the home but oddly enough chases those outside. She is currently being fostered with 2 Poms and a Yorkie mix that she loves and desperately wants to play with, but her large size scares them to death. She needs a dog(s) more her size to rough house with, that can handle her 80 lb body. We know there is someone out there looking for a lovebug like Hope. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl her furever home, please complete the online application. **Hope's breed mix: 25% Bloodhound, 25% Boxer, 12.5% American Staffordshire Terrier, 37.5% unknown** **Fenced yard required, privacy preferred. Story
Meet Tucker!! This adorable little guy was found as a stray back in Jan in a rural part of Tx. We had him placed with a foster until we could complete his vetting & to social him with other people and animals. Mr Tucker made his way to NJ Mar 8th and it was a few days later that we noticed he was limping. We had him seen by our vet when it was discovered that he had a broken leg. He was than taken to an orthopedic on 03/19 and his surgery was scheduled for the following week. Tucker has completely healed and has been cleared by the orthopedic for adoption! Tucker is now 1 yr old, he is fully vetted (vacs/neutered/chip). Tucker is great with other dogs, totally fine with cats, and good with kids visiting but will need a quieter home with older kids (teenagers). Story
Meet Mac! This handsome boy came to us 3 mos ago when he was just 4 mos old. As with most black dogs, he gets overlooked time and time again. Mac is a sweet boy that is now almost 10 mos old. His story is a typical one in the South. He was picked up as a stray in Shreveport, La when he was just a little baby and brought to a high-kill shelter. We know the odds of him having a happily ever after were not very good. Mac is now almost 10 mos old, fully vetted (vaccines/microchipped/neutered). He is good with other dogs (as long as not dominant), cats unknown, and really good with kids! He is a sweet boy that just wants to be loved and appreciated. He is also housebroken and crate trained. If you would like to make this adorable boy a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS STRONGLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED** **NO RENTERS!
