Story
Say Hola to Miss Mitzy from Mexico!!!! Her & her friends had quite the journey here but are happy to be in the states and enjoying their foster homes! Mitzy is a 2-3 year old hound mix who loves her people more than anything! She currently lives with 2 kids and 3 male dogs. She loves the kids and does well with her foster brothers but she can be picky with other dogs. Mitzy is very low key and laid back and would prefer to only live with another laid back dog or alone. She does not like others in her face and prefers to eat alone. She loves belly rubs and has a wild wiggle butt when she plays. She also loves to curl up on the couch and just relax. She is a dream! House trained and crate trained. Adoption fee- $400. She is fixed, microchipped and up to date on shots. OMG!! A whole world of fluff and sweetness right here!! This adorable floof is Buddy!! He is enjoying the fresh air tonight and LOVES the outdoors. He's an almost 2 year old (in September) Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who is looking for a forever home. Buddy is great with kids, ignores cats, and just hangs out with dogs! He really would make an amazing addition to any family. He was adopted as a puppy but was just returned as his parents are going through a divorce. Story
Calling all Pitty lovers! Synclair the roughly 1.5 year old, 45lb male Pitbull is up for adoption! He is blind but don't, "pity him it doesn't hold him back one bit. Hello everyone, my name is Synclair! I was an owner surrender for no fault of my own; my family just couldn't keep me and had been very sad to let me go. They tell me I'm blind, but honesty I don't think I am at a disadvantage. Loud household noises don't frighten me at all, and I am a smart pup who can learn the layout of my environment quickly. I do best with a routine, it helps me know what to expect and curb some slight anxiety. I'm a sweet gentle boy who absolutely loves everyone. My favorite things include snuggling, playing with my toys, and getting treaties. I walk okay on the leash with some guidance from my foster mom, and I have mastered getting up and down stairs! I am also quite skilled at getting up into the car for rides around town. Still working on my relationship with my crate, I have been doing really well sleeping in my crate at night now. I do cry out when my foster family leaves me in the crate to go out on the town without me, however I settle down eventually. I ring a bell that my foster family has set up for me by the door when I want to go outside; this has helped me well in eliminating my accidents. However, they tell me regression is common in new environments. My foster mom says I am a smart boy and will catch on quick in my new home with a routine. Still working on some manners, I am still a big puppy, and little cheeky. My foster mom has a full house with lots of noise so when I get caught doing something I shouldn't, I'm very easily redirected. My foster family includes two small children, and other than occasionally bumping into them when they are too quiet (which is not often), we get along great! I really love to chow down on my dog food, a puzzle feeder would be best, so I take my time and not eat too fast. I Would be okay with a dog friendly cat that didn't mind me sniffing and being all up in their space. I do love to play but I am only mildly energetic, mostly I am calm cool and collected. I will get excited when you come home after being away, but what dog who loves you wouldn't? I have been Microchipped, neutered, vetted, and up to date on vaccines. My foster mom says I'm truly a sweet and special dog that will make one lucky family happy. If I sound like a good fit for you, please apply! Currently being fostered in Reading PA. Story
Looking for his perfect match! Name: Emmett Age: ~7 Sex: Male Breed: Chi/Jack Russel Mix Looking for: Adult only-home Love Language: Balls & ear scratches Good with: Kids: Not preferred Cats: Unknown Dogs: Yes, low energy, non-playful dogs "I am a small, middle-aged boy who is in his PEAK years! I prefer an adult-only home because I don't trust kids... can you blame me? Some would say that I have commitment issues so apparently, I need someone who I can trust that will ensure I am never let down by a human again. I am iffy with new people but will eventually warm up and then I'm super clingy. When it comes to other dogs, I am not a paw-ty animal by any means, and I require a nice long handshake and butt sniff before letting you join my circle. I guess I'd be willing to share my human with the right pup....I'll let you know. I like to take things slow: trust, love, and pets. DON'T ask me to clean your gutters, I live by the "feet on the floor" rule and am a little scared of heights, so I prefer not to be picked up. All I need is a ball to chase or a comfy spot on the couch or on your lap. Don't take it personally but I LOVE my crate. Sometimes it's nice to have alone time. I have some quirks...AKA don't touch me where I don't want to be touched - but once you learn my "DNT Spots, you can give me love everywhere else! Listen, I'm a gutsy guy who is looking for someone who can handle my big personality in my tiny body. I'm UTD on my vaccines, can't get anyone preggers, I'm chipped so that you can stalk me & have a clean bill of health. If you want to make me yours, you have to apply so my "foster mom can "approve. Can you believe she gets to make the final call?!" Zoes House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Hey there! I'm Claire, or Claire Bear as my foster mom likes to call me. I am the most beautiful 3 year old Shichon (Shitzu and Bichon). I was released by a commercial breeder with my 10 week old puppy Ivan. Ivan has been adopted and I am so excited to find my forever home! Presently, I'm being fostered with a gaggle of small dog friends, young and old, male and female. Although I get along with everyone, I most love my foster mom. I would love a home where my mom is retired or works from home. I like to sit close by and oversee things. Of course, I also like to help with the chores, like laundry; those socks are my favorite;) I am curious about everything and think I belong everywhere lol. I hear foster mom frequently calling my name and asking me what I'm doing. I absolutely love running around the yard and exploring! I travel well in the car and I'd love to run errands with my forever mom. At night, I love sleeping in the bed with foster mom but I understand that sometimes, during the day, I must be in a crate to keep me safe while foster mom can't be there with me. I take awhile to warm up to strangers but once we've built trust, I am as loyal as they come. My forever family needs to be patient with me and understand it likely won't be love at first sight. I'm more looking for that committed love where we take things slow, learn about each other and forge a strong bond that will endure a lifetime. That kind of relationship is worth waiting for. Until I know I can trust you, I will be a flight risk, and therefore foster mom says that my forever home must have a fenced in yard. A confident resident dog would help me to adjust to my forever home. I'm doing well with house-training but regression in a new environment is common. I haven't been around kids but I would think that older, respectful dog savvy kids would be kinda fun. I am around 15 pounds. I've been spayed and microchipped. I'm up to date on my shots. So now, I'm just looking for my forever! Could that be you? If so, apply here https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Claire is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County, and all prospective adopters with pets should be prepared to visit her for a meet and greet. Story
Meet Tofu! Todu is a 4'ish year old American Bully mama who came to Zoe's by way of an overcrowded shelter when she was very close to giving birth. Tofu had 9 beautiful babies who have moved on to their forever families and now it is mama's turn! Our sweet girl has some old battle scars on her face from an unknown past, but those days are over. Tofu is the sweetest girl and deserves a second chance with a loving family. She loves to cuddle and nap and snore her days away on the couch, but also gets the zoomies every once in a while! Tofu prefers to be the only animal in the home and she promises she's worth it! While mama has done well around some male dogs she prefers her own space. Tofu has been around adults and children and has done well. However in her forever home she would prefer her own space and would prefer an adult only home with a fenced in yard. Tofu is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped and ready to love you! Please apply on our website only, zoeshouserescue.com. Zoes House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
