Trooper is a loving dog, but he has some fears. He is scared of going outside and needs a house with a fenced in yard to help him acclimate. He does not like loud noises. He also gets very energetic inside the house and needs to be around children older than 5. He is playful but sometimes too much and does not realize his size when he runs around.

Story
Available near Bloomsburg PA!-Not an Aussie but we had to save her! Bess (aka Poppy), previously listed as ‘coming soon’, is now ready for adoption and searching for her furever home. About a year old, Bess is UTD on shots and spayed. She was found in Arkansas with fish hooks in both her mouth & paw. A Good Samaritan/ASF volunteer got her the medical care she needed thru ASF and nursed her back to health. Bess is a 10 pound bundle of sweetness with a lot of energy, a lot of love to give, and a nice off switch. She is the best at bedtime snuggles and will easily sleep thru the night by your side. She is good with dogs and dog friendly cats. A larger, playful dog companion would be the best fit for potential fur siblings as she can play rough at times. She knows sit, down, come, and is learning stay. Bess is potty trained, but still has accidents. She is crate trained, but can be loud in protest at times. This girl also has a really good nose! With some basic training, she would do well with scent work, or a game of household hide-n-seek with her family. If she sounds like the perfect fit for you/your family, please fill out an application and reference Bess (aka Poppy). All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furver family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Finnegan is a sweet boy - well behaved - yet, will be shy at first with new people, but not aggressively so. He always seems to enjoy children & other dogs. Finn has lived with cats in the past & was fine with them, although would not overly interact with them - except to sniff them briefly, as they might walk by. Unfortunately, he has had seizures in the past & now is given meds that have seemed to help greatly! Health concerns are not my reason for giving him up - 'it breaks my heart, to do so' - however, so many places to live at will not allow for pets/dogs especially. Finn has good energy for 10+ years - he's actually at a pretty perfect stage, right now, behavior wise. Even, his potty habits are great, really! Enjoys car rides & he gets around with no problems - and will interact with you, as you interact with him.

Story
Calling all Pitty lovers! Synclair the roughly 1.5 year old, 45lb male Pitbull is up for adoption! He is blind but don't, "pity him it doesn't hold him back one bit. Hello everyone, my name is Synclair! I was an owner surrender for no fault of my own; my family just couldn't keep me and had been very sad to let me go. They tell me I'm blind, but honesty I don't think I am at a disadvantage. Loud household noises don't frighten me at all, and I am a smart pup who can learn the layout of my environment quickly. I do best with a routine, it helps me know what to expect and curb some slight anxiety. I'm a sweet gentle boy who absolutely loves everyone. My favorite things include snuggling, playing with my toys, and getting treaties. I walk okay on the leash with some guidance from my foster mom, and I have mastered getting up and down stairs! I am also quite skilled at getting up into the car for rides around town. Still working on my relationship with my crate, I have been doing really well sleeping in my crate at night now. I do cry out when my foster family leaves me in the crate to go out on the town without me, however I settle down eventually. I ring a bell that my foster family has set up for me by the door when I want to go outside; this has helped me well in eliminating my accidents. However, they tell me regression is common in new environments. My foster mom says I am a smart boy and will catch on quick in my new home with a routine. Still working on some manners, I am still a big puppy, and little cheeky. My foster mom has a full house with lots of noise so when I get caught doing something I shouldn't, I'm very easily redirected. My foster family includes two small children, and other than occasionally bumping into them when they are too quiet (which is not often), we get along great! I really love to chow down on my dog food, a puzzle feeder would be best, so I take my time and not eat too fast. I Would be okay with a dog friendly cat that didn't mind me sniffing and being all up in their space. I do love to play but I am only mildly energetic, mostly I am calm cool and collected. I will get excited when you come home after being away, but what dog who loves you wouldn't? I have been Microchipped, neutered, vetted, and up to date on vaccines. My foster mom says I'm truly a sweet and special dog that will make one lucky family happy. If I sound like a good fit for you, please apply! Currently being fostered in Reading PA. Zoes House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
