Story
Murat is truly the sweetest big guy you will ever meet. We rescued him 2.5 years ago and he has been such an easy dog to care for. He's naturally loyal and listens well off-leash, and always turns heads when out and about. He is great with dogs, but if there are any kids around, he will always choose to play with them instead. He also absolutely loves to play in water, especially during the summer! He is looking for a home where he can collect sticks and belly rubs, but also have a quiet spot to take naps. He will be a great addition to any family, big or small!

Story
Ellie came into our lives by accident, she was left at our house my the previous owner because he wasn’t able to care for her. Over the years she has been a sweetheart- she loves love loves children, loves to snuggle and play, and is even happy just staring at you. She can walk unleashed and will remain by your side (a few friends tried to be sure and she never left anyone). Ellie can remain home alone for up to 12 hours with no accidents. In our home, she has always had a doggy door the last two years, but we have taken it out several times for training while we are at work. Ellie is self-sufficient when it come to hygiene- we always say she is a princess because she crosses her paws and is always trimming her own nails. We recently had our own newborn, and also have a 6yo, and 3 dogs total. Nothing is wrong with Ellie, we just have to revoke to of them because it is alot of work unfortunately. Ellie’s only flaw is- when she farts, you will definitely know. She’s the sweetest🩵

Story
Tanner is a 8 year old Bloodhound rescue mix approx. 65lbs.He is a loving old man who needs a quiet home and would love a yard to explore. He loves being outside, and does great on car rides. He is a gentle giant that, loves other people and does well with both cats and other dogs. He is housetrained, and crate trained. He can be goofy at times, but is very laid back. He enjoys doing his own thing most days, which includes observing everything and sleeping in the sun. Although Tanner is a good boy, he does have some quarks to him. We suggest that if you have other dogs or animals, you feed him in a separate room where the other animals are not able to bother him. The same goes with children. He enjoys that time to himself. Tanner, does not like children which has led him to this path. We would like someone to adopt him that has no children living in the house. Unfortunately, the situation he is in now is not ideal for him. He is a good boy, that deserves to live out his golden years.

Story
Hi, I'm Harper! I'm a cute little pittie with a heart of gold and the goofiest personality around. I am rather timid and it takes me a loooong time to make new friends but man is it worth it! I'm looking for a patient adult only home where I can be the only pet. That sounds like a lot, but let me tell you, I'm worth it! I love going for walks and I walk well on a leash. My short term foster said that I'm house broken, crate trained and I'm an excellent snuggler. Here at the shelter, I go on car rides and long hikes with my friends and I'm always a perfect partner. Do you have a quiet household, without a lot of visitors and want a dog that'll love you unconditionally? You found your match! Email my friends to learn more about me and to get an application.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule a visit with one of their handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hi there, I'm Nolan! I'm a fun-loving pup on the hunt for my forever home. I'm eager to explore the world around me, play, and learn how to be a well-behaved canine citizen. I have lots (and I mean LOTS) of energy, and I'm still working on my training and can get a bit over-excited at times - that's why I'm looking for a family who is dedicated to helping me become the best version of myself. My foster mom says that I walk well on a leash and I love to learn so a good student is what I am!Ideally, I'd love to find a home with someone who has experience with dogs and where any children are 13 years or older. I'm also looking for a home where I can be the only dog, as I want to be the center of your world. While I'm not sure how I feel about cats, I promise I'm a sweet pup who just needs a little direction and patience. I am housebroken and crate trained. Once I've had my exercise for the day, I'm also an amazing cuddler and enjoy lounging on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I could be the perfect match for you. So why not give me a chance and let's see if we can become the best of friends!---This dog is available BY APPOINTMENT only as he is living in foster care. ---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S.
