Meet Tevya very shy and timid at first but then look out for the cuddles, he is neutered and up to date on the vaccines available for adoption only for approved homes This baby was taken in by a concerned person because he was wandering a neighborhood for a couple of weeks. Instead of turning him in to animal control, they did the responsible thing and had Tevya vetted while holding him until a rescue could take him in. He is a swell guy, happy go lucky and loves everyone. Not that large, just kinda chunky...

Trained Special Handler, Savvy Dog Owner Penny is an owner surrender. The lady got married and is now expecting and didn't want her working dog anymore. YES, I SAID OBEDIENCE TRAINED DOG Penny has been used as a balance dog, so she knows the protocol. She will be placed in a home where she is the only dog because like many dogs out there, she was raised without dogs, cats or children, and doesn't get along with them now. Penny's is protective of her person, and will keep others away, this must be monitored. She doesn't do anything out of the way with humans, but dogs are another matter. She will only be placed where there are no other pets, as she is the boss, and causes trouble with other dogs. We recommend further training with her in her new home, in addition to a handler who understands retired working dogs. Penny is extremely loving, beautiful, and blows coat twice a year with a vengeance. Penny loves outings, but we will provide a muzzle to keep her out of trouble with people who won't listen to you. Penny says she is ready to stop this vacation now and settle in with her forever person.

We are looking for a savvy German Shepherd dog owner to provide a loving and caring home for Maverick. Maverick is a sweet and loving animal who enjoys being outside and receiving attention from his owner and family. Maverick was surrendered by an owner who no longer had the desire or time for a dog in her life. Maverick is currently in a boarding kennel and socializes well with other dogs. He is a very quiet German Shepherd, though after a few days with us he has entertained us with yodeling when other dogs are being played with. He is a smart and loyal friend who does a good job of staying calm in various situations. We hope to find him an owner who is active and wants a companion who has excellent behaviors and advanced obedience, though a little rusty at this time. Someone please give this boy the love he deserves and he will serve you for life.

Rocky has been a long stay in boarding while we got this little chowder head to focus. Apparently his live had started with best guess, young boys, because his exuberance was over the top. We have finally gotten him under control. Other dogs still correct him at times because he just can't get that meet & greet scenario down pat, again exuberance. He is a very loving dog and would love the opportunity to live with someone who loves the outdoors and hiking. Sorry no apartments for this boy.

Titan is a pickle. He has been adopted twice now, and returned. This guy has the Chihuahua attitude. Everywhere he goes, he is grumbling. He wants to be held, and he loves on this foster caretakers with all his ability. Still, he growls when he is picked up, and he scares people because of it. You know the ole Pocket Wolf syndrome. This is making it extremely hard to find his forever home. All of this will go away with time, but just too much has happened to him the past few months.
