Story
I found Donald along with his brother and sister in November of last year. They were dumped in front of our and our neighbor's house and terrified. I was able to find homes for his bother and sister, but did not find an adopter for Donald. I decided to keep him as I became quite attached, but due to space and housing issues, I am once again looking for a home for Donald. He is one of the most amazing dogs I have ever known. He is upbeat and quirky and sweet. I will be very particular about who he goes to. He should be an inside dog with a big fenced in backyard so he can go out to run and play. If you think you might be the perfect forever home for Donald, please let me know.

Story
Meet Rolland aka Rollie! This handsome heeler mix is just over 1 year old and is the sweetest boy ever. He originally came from Lancaster Animal Shelter where his owners surrendered him. He was an outdoor dog who truly wanted to be an indoor dog. He is a typical herding dog with energy for days and always looking for an adventure. He is still very young and can be a little mouthy at times, so we are recommending kids 10 and up. He has been exposed to cats and wasn’t overly interested in them more in their food and toys! Rollie is also picking up potty training very quickly and is already crate trained. His foster parents are working on basic obedience with him and he is quickly picking it up, but still gets excited and will jump on you. He enjoys going on walks (or runs if you can keep up) and really enjoys playing with other dogs. He would do great in a home with a dog who can match his energy. He can resource guard his toys sometimes, but is easily corrected and has been doing less with correction. Rolland is already neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccines. Story
Tony was put out with the trash at a local trash dump with his sister. They spent a few weeks avoiding capture before we were able to secure them. At first Tony is a little more reserved but he warms up quickly and becomes super affectionate! Tony has been exposed to dogs of all sizes, cats and even kids and he has done well with all. We take our best guess with breed makeup but there is truly no telling what his mix is. We anticipate he will be no more than 60 lbs full grown. Tony is currently 5 months old and doing well with crate and potty training. ** Tony up to date on all of his vaccines. Tony cannot be altered until 6 months of age and per our adoption agreement the adopter agrees to have this completed and provide proof to rescue.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
River is a 8 month old mixed breed. She is currently only 25 lbs and we don’t anticipate her being larger than 30-35 lbs full grown. She was surrendered to rescue because her puppy energy was too much for the older dog in her adoptive home. River LOVES playing with other dogs and would do great in a home with another dog that can match her energy. River is already crate and potty trained. She also knows basic commands like sit, shake and down. River does like to chew like any puppy but she is easily redirected with a good toy. Looking for a puppy but don’t want all the extra training? River is your girl!

Hartsville, SC
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jack and his sister Jill came to rescue at only a few hours old born 5/9/24. Their mom went septic during birth and her owners could not even bother to take her to the vet for immediate care. By the time she arrived it was too late for her and the remaining babies in her birth canal. Jack and Jill were the only survivors. Jack is your typical young puppy. He plays hard and is into everything! He loves playing with other dogs. Jack will need an adopter dedicated to his training as he matures and understands the work it takes to raise a young puppy. **Jack is current on his age appropriate vaccines but he is not fully vaccinated yet. If adopted prior to vaccine completion the adopter will be responsible for completing the series. Jack cannot be altered until 6 months of age and per our adoption agreement the adopter agrees to have this completed and provide proof to rescue.
