Story
Oliver was found by Columbia Animal Services on 2/1/24. He is believed to be about 4 years old weighing just under 80lbs and was neutered at the shelter on 2/9/24. Columbia Animal Services shelter is running at almost max capacity frequently and dogs that do not get adopted out risk euthanasia at the shelter. We are currently fostering Oliver to get him out of that environment. Oliver is very smart, he knows commands like sit, lay-down, shake, stay. He is house trained and has not needed to be crated when we are not home. He gets along well (for the most part) with our 2 dogs. He is also amazing with our 9yo son. They bonded immediately and Oliver follows him everywhere and sleeps in his room.

Story
This handsome boy is Bibby. Bibby came to us from animal control and has been at our recue for far too long. Bibby has the best personality and will always keep you entertained. Bibby hasn't experienced any stability in his life and can be wary of new people so he just needs a little extra time to get to know you. Once he does he will be the best velcro dog! Bibby is very high energy and would love a family who is just as active. Due to his high energy Bibby would do best in a home with no young children and no other pets.He is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and heartworm tested. If this energetic boy melts your heart, call 803-802-0902 to schedule an appointment to meet this sweet boy! Bibby cannot wait to meet you!• Remember, all family that lives in the household must come to the appointment..If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
I’m Blue, a boxer mix who is about 4½ months old.I came to the Humane Society with my four siblings and my mom. Sadly, we were abandoned overnight in a yard at the rescue.I spent several weeks in foster care to decompress from that experience and to learn to feel safe and cared for. I’m back at the rescue and ready to settle into my forever home.I have a healthy dose of puppy energy! Like all puppies, I’ll need a home where I can continue my training – and that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family while I grow and learn. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
Hi, I’m Bunco, an adorable 16-week-old shepherd mix who gets along with everyone – I love to hang out with my humans and to play with other pups at the Humane Society of York County.I came to the HSYC as an owner-surrender after I had been living outside with my siblings in terrible conditions.I’ve gone on field trips with my HSYC friends and shown that I’m a brave boy trying new things, and I’m a mellow car rider. I also do well with my leash skills!Like all puppies, I bring young-boy energy and need a home where I can continue my training – that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family while I grow and learn. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
