But that's a mouthful, so let's stick with Meg. Not to brag or anything, but Margaret (Meg) was the preferred name given to queens and princesses. I fit right in. A princess for sure. A little bit about how I came to be looking for my furever home. I ended up on a farm owned by some super nice people with my 4 young pups. I can't quite remember how I got there, I think dropped off in the dead of night. These kind people took me and my babies in. They made sure we were warm and fed. Once my little ones were ready to find a home of their own, they reached out to the Humane Society in Johnson City. The kids have since found loving homes. Now it is my turn. I am an all around great gal. I do well with kids, cats and other dogs. What more could you ask for? I would be very happy hanging out on a farm of my own. Oh, I can't forget to mention, because I know this is important to you humans, I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm and flea treated and current on all vaccines. Come on! Lil'y is the sweetest ultimate cuddle bug and snuggle bunny who loves to give kisses. She is a velcro dog and loves to be with her person. Although Lil'y did not live with any young children, she has spent time with one and was really gentle. She would be an amazing sister to other dogs who are smaller than she is or the same size. She exhibits fear with larger dogs. As a dog who wants to be with her person, she does not like to be alone. Lil'y loves to spend time outdoors, but she does not like to be in the rain. She's loves to play, is extremely smart and eager to learn. She is content to play outside all day with other dogs and goats, or to cuddle on the couch for ours. She's protective of her people, fellow animals, and property, but non-agressive. She has been serving as one of our goat guardians since I found her. I don't know how she is with cats (she was non-reactive to them at the vet, however), chickens, or kids; she's sweet and quick to learn, but rough-and-tumble. Since Stella has livestock guardian genes, so she needs to be fed alone; she absolutely WILL wander without a really good fence (she'll climb over without an electric line around the top). She likes to be queen bee and before she was spayed, she picked a few fights with my other pyrinees. But they've now settled into a homeostasis with no issues. If I could afford to keep her, I would. He is your typical happy-go-lucky puppy. He loves everything; food, belly rubs, playtime, and attention to name a few! He’s about 5 months old and weighs 30 pounds. Bruce would make the most wonderful addition to any family. We could see him thriving in so many different households. He’d love a canine companion. He does well with kids. He loves cats, though they don’t always love him as he just really, really wants to play with them. Like most pups, he would do well in an active home.
