Story
Beau is the sweetest gentle giant. We adopted him from a shelter in Virginia when he was around 9 months old in 2018. He’s 6 years old. He is a pretty low energy dog- a typical day for him consists of a walk to potty morning and night, plus a mid day let out to pee. He otherwise sleeps most of the day and night. He has lived with our 7 year old male cat since his adoption day and more recently with our 1.5 year old son. He is great with both of them and always plays well with other dogs at the dog park and on walks. He does very well on his easy walk harness during walks. He is a goofy, clumsy, big dog who loves food, people, and his bed. He does not bark, but will let out an awesome occasional coonhound howl every once in a while if he gets playing at the park. He has had a full vet work up in the last year and is very healthy. We are heartbroken to not be able to care for him anymore and want a loving home and family for him.

Story
Annie has never met someone she didn’t become friends with. She is sweet, full of energy, and has a ton of personality. A friend of ours found Annie in the middle of a busy intersection in 2020 and tried for a while to find the owner but couldn't so we decided to take her in. When we got her and took her to the vet, they said that she was probably about 1.5 - 2 years old and had given birth sometime in the last year. She has had no medical issues and has been spayed since being in our home. She's been with us for the last 4 years and we love her so much, but we now have an 18 month old toddler and another on the way. Although she's never been aggressive with our firstborn, it doesn't seem like she belongs in a home with babies or young kids. We cant stress enough how much she's loved by dog sitters, staff at her doggy day care, and everyone who comes over. She will be happy in a home that can give her the attention she deserves, exercise, cuddles, and playtime.

Story
Shiloh is 2 years old and very playful. She loves to cuddle. She loves to go hiking. We have had her since she was a puppy. Shiloh is coming from a nonsmoking home and we have three small Pomeranians and a rag doll cat. I can’t keep her due to landlord issues. She will make a great dog for someone who is active and wants a loving companion.
