I adopted Lola from an abusive family 2 yrs ago. At first she was very stand off ish with me and people but she grew out of that quickly being in a loving home. Unfortunately due to her past she has emotional trauma and causes her to have anxiety. She tends to lick and nibble at her feet and scratch her nose area and when she does so she cries LOUDLY and sometimes it’s for a good minute or so. This “tick” she has scares my other dog and is started to affect her. Lola is very loving and likes to cuddle but her random out burst of crying is to much for our home now. Lola is about 3-1/2 years old

Ozzy has a predictable routine—he naps during the day and becomes wonderfully playful in the afternoons and evenings. This cuddly and lovable companion will shower you with affection and joy. However, it's important to note that he doesn't get along with female dogs or cats, as he has never been around female dogs, and unfortunately, cats haven't been kind to him. Ozzy is accustomed to the company of smaller male dogs and thrives in that.

Story

Korra is a very sweet and confident dog. She would do best in a home that can give her the attention and love she deserves. She spends most of the day with our other dog, Oliver and they get along very well. She does really well when you give her attention. She is food motivated, and learns tricks easily. We got her to be a companion for our bigger dog, but due to work and a new baby we just don’t have the time to give her the attention she deserves. We were able to find family who are willing to take Oliver (our other dog) for a few years but they don’t have enough space for two dogs. We love Korra and think of her as part of our family. We just want her to have a family that can give her the attention she deserves. She does really well with our daughter (8 months now).

The first word that comes to mind when you see me is regal, being poised in my stature, walk and behavior, but you might catch me playfully hopping with my dog buddies.When we first meet I need a moment to stand back to check you out just to determine if you're friend or foe, but don't worry...I'm a love bug after I've made my decision and see that you are worthy. I get along great with the dogs in my foster house, and I am great with kids. (Sorry, I don't like cats though.) I prefer not to bark (even when others are) as I am too well-mannered, but I have a wonderful deep bark if needed. I already know how to use a doggy door and am completely trained to do my business outside. Unlike some of my herding friends, I'm not hyperactive. I do need room and time to exercise (wait till you see how good I am on a leash!) but I also enjoy a nice nap at your side. I might nudge you with my nose if I feel you're ignoring me, but you'll think it's super cute. Don't fret, this regal boy doesn't require a throne...just a home and family where I can show you what a perfect dog I am to love and to love you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. I am a 5 year old 85 lb. teddy bear, and my goal in life is to snuggle all the people and collect all the treats. I may be a Pyrenees mix or just a mix of a bunch of adorableness. I'm desperately searching for a family who needs a pup willing to walk with them, play with them, protect them, and snuggle the loneliness out of them. I am a super smart guy who would love to learn more than basic commands (I know sit, touch and down). I need to learn the nuances of living in a house with my beloved humans. I'd make an amazing emotional support pup because I almost NEED to be around my humans. I mean, what happens if they need a snuggle and I'm not around? I'd do best in a house with a fence, and I would probably struggle with small children because I'm a bit pushy when snuggles and treats are involved. (Of course, training would also address this!)
