Story
Blue is a 2-3 year old, neutered Pit Bull mix who has basic house manners.  He was a one-owner dog in a great home until a few weeks ago. We thought he'd be great for us with our other dog, but we later found out due to dog reactivity he will need to be a single-dog home. He seems to be insistent on being alpha and doesn't seem to respect a female owner. He's shown dog reactivity, and recently some aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. He's incredibly smart, super trainable, and has been very sweet in-home, friendly with people and kids. He needs a place where he can get his energy out and loves to sleep and snuggle. Blue is such a special, sweet pup!   This is a courtesy post.  Please contact Jo Lord at jolordbills@gmail.com or call 212-203-5909 with any inquiries. Story
Courtesy Post Fen is a 2 yr old spayed female mixed breed dog. This playful, joyous girl stole our hearts. Fen loves her people, her frisbee, and the river more than anything. She is 2.5 years old, fully house trained, and is content snuggling on the couch with you or heading out on a big outdoor adventure. Fen was born for the water and can never get enough of swimming and canoe rides. She deserves a loving home that will give her the snuggles, walks, frisbee time, safety and environment that she needs. The best home for Fen would be a home with plenty of outdoor access, without small children and without other pets.  Please contact Cory Froning coryfroning@gmail.com with any inquiries or interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 13, 2024, 2:37 pm

Story
Mochi is a 5 yr old spayed female 8 lb small mix.   She has lived with dogs and cats and done well. She is used to hiking and running and has basic training. Mochi life has been a bit hectic lately and she needs a refresher on house training once things settle down for her in foster. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. A sweet girl looking for another family. She loves a lap or to lie on your chest. She loves to sleep under covers. She likes to go for a walk or a run. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, though she can be a little bossy sometimes. She is very food motivated. She comes when she is called and can be let out into the yard without a leash.  She is scared of new people and will run upstairs and hide away when new people are in the house. She barks when people arrive to the house or if she thinks there is an animal outside. Currently she has become quite anxious and has been having episodes of incontinence in the house, She is in fact house-trained.  Please submit a completed application on our website with any inquiries.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 13, 2024, 2:37 pm

Story
Lucy otherwise known as “Funny Bunny” or Comical Rabbit or Hillarious Hare by her fosters that already have a Lucy. She's just had pups that are now weaned. She's about 10 lbs and definitely has an underbite. She tolerates teeth brushing perfectly! A really mild mannered human loving gal. She's fine with the other dogs in foster and ignores the guinea pigs. She probably doesn't like to share tasty treats with other dogs. Fully house and crate trained. Living with kids and very used to them, loud noises and being picked up. She does try to run off for fun in the woods of the kids leave the door open. So far easy to get her back- but needs recall training. She's a very easy and handle-able pup. Family welcomed! She fits on fast and easy.
