Story
Hi guys! My name is Wren, and I’m a little over a year old, black and tan coonhound. I currently attend doggy daycare and I play very well with all the different dogs, young and old. I respect my elders (dogs), and give them the space they need. I am great off leash, and I’m great on leash! I sleep well in the crate, and will whine when I need to go potty. Since I’m still young, I have spurts of puppy energy but I also settle well after my walk, either on a dog pillow or next to you on the couch. Overall, I’m medium energy. Currently I’m living with 3 cats, 2 of which are hiding when I’m around, and one that I kinda like enhanging with. Most cats don’t appreciate my overly curious nature when it comes to the feline species. For that reason, I’ll do best in a no-cat household. Being a hound, you would think I constantly bay at stuff, but I reserve that for only the most interesting of occasions. Like when my foster family arrives home, or I visit the farmer’s market. During daycare I’m a quiet but happy boy also. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt for Wren.

Oscar, is as regal as one of the statuettes that are awarded by the Academy. This Oscar is a stately 3 year old, 70 lb, Ridgeback mix. He is good with all dogs he has met ranging from 25 lbs and up. We don’t know how he is with cats. He is left loose at home with other dogs and is very well mannered. Oscar doesn’t do well with young kids and can take a minute to warm up to men. He is a very nice boy. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt for this Academy Award winner.

Story
Nugget is a 3 year old, 47 lb Boxer mix. He does great in a crate and is housebroken. Nugget walks well on a transitional leash. We think Nugget would do best as an only pet. He is a bit timid around new people, so slow introductions will be needed. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt

Story
Sweet Shadow is an older gal around 7/8 looking for a relaxing home to take naps, smell the fresh air and snuggle with her people. Shadow is a 89lb lap dog that wants all the love! She is timid at first but warms up once she feels safe. Loud noises do scare her but with the time she adjusts. Shadow does have some allergies which are being controlled by medication. As an older gal Shadow has previously torn her ACL and as a result has some arthritis. She is currently on medication to help with that. She truly is a love bug that will take all the hugs given to her. Great with cats! Shadow is currently in a foster home with dogs and does well with them (with proper introduction). Story
Say hello Ringo Starr, the goofy, 2yr old wonder pup! Ringo has been settling in nicely with his new foster mom in VT, and now ready to interview a family to call his own. He may look like a larger dog in the pics and even has a deep big dog bark, but this little cutie is on the smaller side at about 35 pounds and knee height! He’s a fun loving guy who enjoys cozy couch time and belly rubs as much as he does a long romp in the woods. He's even been working on his off leash skills and likes to stay close to his people. Ringo needs a little support from his coach when meeting new people and dogs, but does well with slower, respectful introductions and has been doing well meeting people and dogs alike on the trail. He gets a bit overwhelmed with boisterous over excited dogs (and people) and would do best in a quieter home with no kiddos. He has been enjoying time with his foster brother and sister (both beagle pups) and loves to run around the yard and play. Ringo Starr is fully house trained and crate trained, sleeping through the night without stirring or complaining. He’s a happy guy to wake up to and get your day started with a sloppy kiss. We have not tested him with cats yet, more info to come. If you are looking for a solid partner to journey through life with and/or a trail guide on your hiking adventures, Ringo Starr would love to meet you! Story
Sadie is approximately 5 yrs old, spayed, up to date on immunizations and approximately 45 lbs. Sadie does well with dogs her own size, bigger dogs not so much. She much prefers her people and we think she would excel with someone who enjoys doing activities with their dog, such as agility or hiking or anything that includes you! If you're looking for that partner in life, look no further!! Sadie is your girl! She is house trained, walks well on a leash and loves to go for car rides (again anything that includes her person). She is just a bit timid with men initially but attaches to people quickly. NO CATS FOR SADIE. She loves to learn, knows sit and working on not jumping, so probably a home with no small kiddos would be best. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt.
