Story
I am a fun loving, goofy girl. I'm so happy, I wiggle when I walk! My last person didn't want me anymore and now I crave that special person who will love me as much as I love them. My biggest pleasure in life is to make you happy and laugh. I might look like a stiff wind is hitting me from the side, but it only adds to my silly, quirky personality. I haven't met a person yet that I don't like. In fact, I LOVE everybody. I'm great at cuddles too and I'm so good at being calm and respectful, just give me a few minutes to get over my eagerness to meet you. I work really hard at greeting you with a sit, but sometimes I'm so HAPPY to meet you I might forget my manners and jump, but I quickly stop when you remind me. I'm very good in my crate and I'm house trained. I promise to adore you for the rest of my life. I love playing ball like it is my middle name. Would you like to be my forever person?.

Story
Rose is a combination peaceful, serene with her people and playful young girl especially chasing her Kong Rubber Ball. Soulful eyes just beg you to let me be yours. Chills out after play and takes life easy. She enjoys all kinds of throw toys and is very good about releasing them. Really fun dog with a gentle spirit and loving attitude. A great combination of relatively compact size, super joyful spirit, focused affection and companion, and fun ! Adoption Process Guardianship Application available for download at http://tinyurl.com/MAPSFiles The Adoption process is designed to help best place dogs with homes that are in the best interest of the dogs and their human companions. The adoption process starts with a prescreen review of an Guardian Application. Making decisions about dog placement in adoptive homes is an "art", not a "science", and there will be times when applications will be denied for various reason(s). This is left to the discretion of the MAPS after reviewing relevant information. MAPS reserves the right to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care into a foster or adoptive home. There is no guarantee that any applicant(s) requesting to adopt a dog being fostered through MAPS, or posted on MAP's web site, will be granted an adoption. After a successful prescreen, including background checks, the applicant(s) are notified that they can visit the dogs and a time slot is made for the dog and applicant interaction. After the interaction we encourage several days of reflection before adopting a pet to help assure this will be a lifetime commitment of love and quality care for the dog. Next we conduct a home/neighborhood visit to the Guardian Applicant's home. If the home visit proves successful the new mom and/or dad of the dog will sign an Adoption Agreement and share a lifetime of love !

Story
Anna…. She lives to be with you. She enjoys doggy activities but her favorite activity is simply being with you. She loves walks, car rides, tennis ball retrieval or lying near you as you answer emails. Anna doesn’t just live she thrives on her/your daily routine. If you have a busy day, that’s OK she will spend her day watching you work. She is smart, food motivated and eager to please. Her personality and intelligence make her a great student. She has most of the basic commands mastered and is already house and crate trained. She is ready for that next big step in her life. Remember Anna is a book with only a sentence or two in each paragraph. She is waiting for you to finish her life’s story with her. Someone will get a great companion who would love to spend her day on your schedule. Anna has all the right ingredients; wouldn’t you like to bake the cake?

Story
***** Dolly has been with us longer than we would like so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $350. *****Hey y'all! I'm Dolly, a sweet girl with a heart full of love. I may be a little shy at first, but I'm just taking my time to get comfortable. And when I do, I shine like a Tennessee sunset! Just like Dolly Parton said, "If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." I really enjoy playing fetch (and I do a great job dropping the toy!). I am very treat motivated (and take treats gently). I'm ready for a brand new chapter filled with love and kindness. I'll blossom into the sweetest companion you'll ever meet in no time. Give me a chance, and I'll be your loyal friend forever!Additionally, I am eligible for enrollment in a four week training program through GoodPup, so be sure to ask your counselor about this when you meet me! Can't wait to see ya soon! Medical history: Dolly is on a bit of medication to help with her anxiety, but she's completely healthy otherwise. She should meet her new vet as soon as possible to establish care. Story
G'day, mate! My name is Katie and my breed comes from land down under, where the puppies roam and like to plunder (for snuggles and belly rubs). Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder (of my tail wags)? You better run, you better take cover (so I can come find you - puppies like hide-and-seek games too!). Hopefully you liked my song. I bet you will like me even more when you come to visit. I've been told I am a pretty girl with lots of love to give! Could you be my forever human? Medical History: I appear to be a healthy pup, but it's always a good idea to set up an appointment with my new vet soon, so that we can meet and make plans to keep me happy and healthyWeight: 7 lbsAdoption Fee: $475If you'd like to meet me, click the "Learn About the Adoption Process" button below to plan a visit to the shelter!
