Story
We got birdie from a family friend in northeast Iowa. She is AKC registered, purebred chocolate Lab. We are very passionate about pheasant hunting and she just does not have the qualities to be a good pheasant hunting dog. She is timid and sort of panics when lost out in the tall grass. She is a great family pet. Loves to play with our kids. She is great around the house. Never leaves the yard. Very playful

Story
Hello, Willow! She's a spunky little girl, full of character! Willow will be 3 years old on 2/26. She needs a farm or big fenced in yard. She's bored at our home, and needs space to run around and burn her exuberant energy. Her favorite activity is playing ball. She just loves people, and gets super excited meeting new people. I probably wouldn't recommend her to be in a house with children under the age of 10, because she can get growly if you get too close to touching her paws. Ideally, I think this girl would be best with a job or task of some kind to do. If a farmer or a hunter or fieldsman needed a companion, she would be just perfect. She's a very dominant dog. Other dogs her size or bigger would be recommended. I just want Willow to have the best life possible, and I know I am unable to do that for her anymore. If you think you can give her the life she so desperately deserves, please reach out. Thank you!

Story
Located in Dubuque, Iowa. Looking to rehome this pretty girl. She is 3 years old. We are not sure on her exact breed, we adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 4 months old and they do not breed test. We never looked further into her breed, our vet labels her as Blue Heeler/Bluetick. She is great with other dogs, great with our cats, and amazing with kids. Loves to cuddle and be loved on! Due to our busy schedules we can’t keep her, she spends too much time in her kennel which is not fair to her. She doesn’t burn off the energy she needs to. Looking for her to go to her forever home, preferably with a lot of room outdoors. She loves to go on walks, and just run, explore and play! Before deciding a family, we would like to do a home visit of where she would be living to ensure it’s a great place for her.

Story
We got Fiona when she was 6 months old from the Humane Society. She is a great pet since we obtained her, she potty trained really quickly, her energy levels adapt to the situation, when you are on the couch relaxing she will come to you and cuddle, when you want to run, she will run with you, and she is highly obedient. Fio enjoys eating, playing tug, and playing with the flirt pole, as well as enjoys training (Sit, down, spin, touch...) and picks up commands quickly. Fio likes taking multiple naps during the day and sleeps very well through the night. Unfortunately, as she grew up into a very well behaved dog, now that she is 2 years old she suddenly stopped getting along with our other two dogs; Importantly, she stopped getting along with our other female dog. As much as it hurts us, we have decided that both of our female dogs are incompatible and found the need to rehome Fio as we believe this will prevent escalation.
