Mama (Wilma) is a sweet beautiful affection kitty cat.  She is almost 7 years old and weighs approximately 12 pounds.  She is a little skittish at first (startled by loud noises) but once she gets used to her situation and warms up to her family, she turns into a velcro cat.  She will want to sit on your lap (if sitting) or on your chest (if laying) all the time.  She will sleep with her human every night.  She loves having her head and chin scratched for as long as you are willing to scratch. That being said, Mama is very skittish.  She does not like loud noises and is not a big fan other cats, other than her son Cody.  I think it is important that they stay together for their comfort.  Once she warms  up to you, she is a lovely affection cat.  It will take someone with patience and understanding. This little lady is Stevia! She arrived as a smaller kitten with her litter mates and were quite fearful and sick. They needed some medical treatment and quite a bit of socialization. They may not be as sweet as their names, but they're trying their hardest! Stevia is a shy girl who enjoys attention on her terms, as well as being outgoing and playful when she's feeling comfortable! She's fun and friendly, a curious and goofy girl who can also be unsure and in turn, a little intolerant and nervous. She'll need continued socialization in her home and would do best with older kids and maybe a social feline resident to help show her the ropes and bring her out of her shell!

Say hello to Bernadette! She is a sweet cat who came to us as a stray. She was nervous at first in the shelter, and will require some time to adapt and become comfortable in a new environment. I had a little house in the in the back yard for shelter for some of the stray cats if they got cold. one of the cats had a litter of kittens, I thought I would recue 2 of the kittens. pets are about 6 years old. Objective for the cats would be to find a home for them that they might get attention. I'm working a lot and they are becoming a burden to me because one of them started spraying and the other started going # 2 in the house. Not sure why.

Lionel is a sweet and curious boy. He moved with me from Seattle to Grand Rapids, and now lives in Farmington Hills. He was briefly an outdoor cat but is happy indoors as long as he has windows looking outside. He loves being a lap cat and purrs as loud as a lawnmower most days. Unfortunately Lionel is very overstimulated by my 4 year old. It breaks my heart to find him a new home but he’s unhappy sharing a space with my daughter who has big meltdowns. I want to protect him as much as I want to protect her. Lionel will come with all his favorite mice toys including his cat tree, litter box, and about 3+ months worth of food. He is up to date on his shots and was last seen by the vet in May.
