Fiona loves to be held. She is a cuddly girl, especially if she can snuggle under covers or next to pillows. She likes to explore and discover new cabinets and drawers. Fiona has a tiny little meow but you can't miss her purring. Sometimes she kind of coos like a dove. When you pet her, she curls up her front paws with happiness. Fiona has been super easy; she has not chewed or scratched up anything. At first she was cautious around my dogs, but she is gaining confidence with them as they do not chase her. My cat is not friendly to other cats, but Fiona would probably do fine with a more welcoming cat friend. Fiona's fur is luxurious, she looks like a short-hair, but her fur is super thick, soft, and a little longer than other short-hair cats. ##2257068##

Mili is a 8 year old gray tabby that was adopted from Adams County Animal Shelter, 5 1/2 years ago. Mili is very skiddish and needs a one person, female home. She does not like males and has never bonded with my husband. She was a stray that was brought to the AS so the first two years of her life are unknown, but I don’t think they were good. I am having heart health issues and it is getting harder to deal with a cat. I am now on blood thinners and worry about being scratched or bit, which has happened but very infrequently. I think she needs a home with a very patient, quiet female. Willing to chat with anyone who has interest. This is not being done easily and I have listed the profile and removed several times due to the difficulty of this decision, so your understanding is appreciated. Thanks very much!

I got Peggy a little over a year ago. She is a 5 year old domestic short hair cat. She is tricolored with brown, black, and white. Peggy is a very fun cat. She is extremely cuddly, loves pets, and loves sleeping on fuzzy blankets. She can be a little feisty when she's riled up or wants space, but she's still an extremely sweet cat. She likes to play with toys that she can chase, like laser pointers. She doesn't do well with other pets, and is very much a one or two person cat. She is also a very vocal cat, and can and will tell you what she needs. I'm looking for someone who can be home and give her more attention than I can, as I work two jobs and am a college student.
