Story
Boon is a male kitten with a mainly white coat with a black tail and a few other black marks around his head. He loves to be with his person and will purr and give kisses. Being very content to snuggle. He loves to have his head petted. But don't worry about tiring out of petting him. He'll put his head under your hand to encourage more pets. He also loves to come running when he hears ice coming from the refrigerator. He loves ice chips to bat around. Boxes, feathers, springs, and toy mice, he loves to play with all. He's very good with other cats and should be good with dogs given a proper introduction. He's litter boxed trained and ready to find his forever home. Boon was born to a barn cat whose Mom was killed when he was just about 3 weeks old before he came to MAA.Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple. Story
In search of someone special, with a quiet home and lots of love. Our names are Panda and Panther. Our lives started out pretty traumatic because someone decided to cut off our tails because they thought it would make us look more "cute." So it takes alot of time for us to trust. We need a family who will have patience & reassurance so we will learn not everyone is out to hurt us. Our foster home is a little chaotic and we would be better suited to a calmer, quieter environment. I am playful and enjoy cuddling with my people. Extremely soft fur. We have been around kids, dogs & other cats. Vetted & litter box trained. Discounts if you decide to adopt the pair or they can be adopted solo.Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple. Story
I'm a friendly girl that loves pets after I feel comfortable.  I will be shy at first but will warm up and be your best friend with a little time.  I came to ARR with a litter of kittens and they have all been adopted.  Now I need a home of my own to enjoy sunbeams and lots of love.  Born May 2022. Children 12 and up.    foster: DG Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Please contact Kristin (cats@arrcolorado.org) for more information about this pet.  Mimi is a beautiful buff tabby and a dream cat - she is low maintenance, sweet, quiet, can entertain herself while her owner is at work, but happy to engage in play and chase a wand. She is finally enjoying the indoor life she deserves! This sweetheart is only approximately 3 years old and has had several litters of her own, and now it’s her turn! Mimi has been through a lot in her short life and needs a patient and experienced adopter because she is quite shy. Mimi should ideally be an only cat and the apple of her adopter’s eye. Mimi has been tested for FeLV/FIV and is negative for both. Story
Please contact Kristin (cats@arrcolorado.org) for more information about this pet.  Liliana is the tortie of your dreams! She is bursting with love to share with the right family. She loves to rub on your legs, lay next to you, and head bump you to remind you that she wants some lovins. She loves to make biscuits in a soft bed and will make enough for an entire bakery! Very playful but also self sufficient, Liliana can entertain herself while her family is at work. As a typical tortie, Lili is also sassy and full of personality. She needs a single pet household so she can rule the roost! Born in 2022.   foster: LH Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. Story
Name: Mr. Crinkles Breed: Domestic Short Hair Sex: Neutered Male Age: 8.5 years Weight: 15 lbs Good with dogs? Not Tested Good with cats? Not Tested Good with kids? Not Tested Energy level: Low; he plays with some toys and enjoys looking out the window or keeping his humans company. Medical/Behavioral needs: Mr. Crinkles has cute, curly ears, but no known ear trouble. He is FIV+. FIV is a feline-only retrovirus that affects a cat’s immune system. He is currently asymptomatic and in good health. An adopter should be aware that FIV can make a cat more vulnerable to other medical issues because their immune system is not as strong as an FIV negative cat. FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs and can only be transferred to other cats through a deep cat bite. Animal Characteristics: Mr. Crinkles is a big, sweet, cuddly love bug who adores attention. He will rub against you, nose boop and roll over on his back to have his belly rubbed. His dream is to spend his days sitting beside his human and his nights snuggled up sleeping with you. He is shy at first and appreciates a peaceful environment, but once he is cozy in his forever home, he will enjoy being picked up, hugged and snuggled. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process.
