Story
My wife & I found this sweet male German Shepherd mix puppy in Stockton, Ca at a gas station searching for help while visiting my wife's ill Father. He had no collar. We called the local dog pound, no one reported him lost. We tried to drop him of to a shelter & they are at capacity. We got him scanned for a chip & he did not have one. So we fostered him 2 months ago. He is currently at my mothers but she is elder & unable to walk him. He has backyard access but is too active for her. We would have took him to our home in SF but we have 5 pets & 2 kids in our home already. We will just request a donation to an SPCA or an animal rescue. We just recently got him neutered, chipped, & he has all his shots. We paid $250 for this. We really do not want the money, we just want to find him a good & safe permanent home and owners to keep up with him because he is very active. Fee is negotiable, we just reassurance he will not be harmed.

Story
FOSTER CARE! Hello, my name is Bebe and I'm a 4 year old, spayed, smooth German Shepherd/Pitbull mix that currently weighs about 54 lbs. I'm an affectionate girl that starts off on the timid side. Once I'm comfortable, I enjoy belly rubs and daily walks! I'm hoping for a quiet home that understands that I am a wonderful, but sensitive lady who will need time to adjust into a new setting. Once I'm settled, I'm the epitome of good etiquette. I am calm and demure, most of the time. I've been known to be a fence climber when I want to be with my people. I love the game of chase! Especially with small critters like birds and squirrels so I prefer to be the only pet in the household. My foster family says I'm crate trained (I sleep there at night) and I've had minimal accidents in the house. I'm also a pro at sitting for treats! For more information, just ask Customer Service about Bebe! ID# A946402   Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by following these instructions: Please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile. When you email your adoption profile, please include a few sentences about why you're interested in adopting me specifically and why you think I'd be a good fit for your family! Please also tell us a little bit about your dog experience, if any. We look forward to hearing from you!  Application: https://phs-spca.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/AdoptionProfiles_dog2023_fillin.pdf *The application may not work on mobile devices and iPads. Please call (650) 340-7022 for assistance. .   Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Well, hello! My name is Hershey and I'm a spayed, 9-month-old, German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix who currently weighs around 55 lbs. but will most likely be around 74 to 80lbs. as an adult. I'm an energetic and effervescent girl that LOVES to play in the water! I would be the perfect companion to beach goers, river rafters or sprinkler hoppers! I can be a little uncertain on how to make doggy friends so I'm hoping to continue working on my social skills and impulse control with an active, loving family. I can't wait to meet everyone in the household including any resident dogs before I head home. Just ask Customer Service about Hershey! ID# A955664 I recently spent time with a volunteer! Here's how I did: I took Hershey out for the first time today. She was really eager to get out. Luckily the yard was available because this girl LOVES to fetch and LOVES the water! She ran happily in the yard chasing balls and splashing around. She knows drop so it’s easy to trade balls and keep her running. I also took her for a walk. She needs some work on leash manners but did not pull really hard - probably due to running zoomies before! She is affectionate.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Hi there! My name is Luna and I'm a spayed, 1-year-old, German Shepherd mix that currently weighs about 45lbs. My friends here at PHS say I'm a ball of energy (I jump for joy when I'm excited!) but sometimes I'm unsure about trying new things. I'm hoping for a new family that has experience helping playful girls like me broaden their horizons. Since I'm still working on my manners and impulse control, I'd like to meet any resident dogs before I officially join the family to make sure we'll be a good match. I hope to be the classiest lady so training is a must! I promise to be the sweetest girl you will ever meet! Story
Bo is a sweet, sensitive, and incredibly loving five-year-old dog with a deep love for the outdoors. He’s energetic, fantastic off-leash, has great recall, and is especially gentle around small children. He rarely barks. Bo thrives in nature—he loves playing fetch, going to the beach, camping, road trips, and even playing in the snow. He’s roughly knee height and about 50 lbs. Bo is a mix of 25% German Shepherd, 12.5% Australian Cattle Dog, 12.5% Vizsla, and other breeds, including Chow Chow and Staffordshire Terrier. While affectionate and well-behaved, he struggles with anxiety and can get whiny when nervous—something I’ve worked on but haven’t fully resolved. He also has occasional anxiety/sensitivity to big dogs when off leash as he’s been bitten twice. Bo would do best as an only dog or with a smaller companion in a home near nature or the beach, where his owner has time to be active. He’s a loyal, loving dog who needs a patient, understanding owner to help him feel secure/happy
