You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Happy SeniorRocky is a 95 pound, neutered male senior German Shepherd Dog. Sweet Rocky loves his humans, his toys, and taking walks in his neighborhood. After many months in the shelter, this is the perfect life for this senior boy. Like many German Shepherd senior dogs, Rocky has Degenerative Myelopathy, but he has a full life and experiences no pain from his condition. He takes an allergy pill daily, but needs no other ongoing medication. Rocky is crate trained, house trained and walks well on leash. He loves to hang out in the back yard to monitor the birds and squirrels as well as the skydivers above his San Martin neighborhood! Rocky prefers humans to other dogs, but he lives in peaceful cohabitation with his two 4-legged sisters. This gentle. loving boy deserves a quiet, loving home where he can share his snuggles and silly playtime for the remainder of his days. Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.   Adoption fees for dogs: http://www.svpetproject.org/info/adoption Stay up-to-date on what our dogs are up to by following us on Facebook!  https://www.facebook.com/svpetprojectVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 5:26 pm

Story
Bella is a 1 year old German Shepherd mix whom we saved from the euthanasia list of Contra Costa Animal Service shelter and are currently fostering. She weighs a petite 50lb. She is spayed, up-to-date on all shots (DA2PPV, bordetella, rabies) and microchipped. Bella is very playful, and would especially enjoy a good game of fetch! Her leash walking is very good with little training. She passes other dogs and humans on walks with no problem. She is crate trained and can stay alone in a crate quietly for 6 hours. She loves interacting with you, bumping and licking your hands. She learns new stuff fairly quickly. I have taught her "sit" and "down" very easily. She is good with other dogs. Just need time to slowly introduce them. She has become best friends with my resident dog and they play together daily now. You can find more photos and videos of me at https://tinyurl.com/adoptbella I will be waiting for you in Sunnyvale, CA. If interested, please text (xxx) xxx-xxxx .
