Story
Mae is very sweet and intelligent but super submissive and has been this way since she was 5 months old. She loves to play fetch anything that could get her outside and on adventures she’s up for. She loves car rides. She’s lived with other pets before and is a very follow the leader type of dog. Cats she’s fine with but hasn’t been around much. Same thing with kids never been around little kids before but she has a sweet demeanor and has never been a concern around other people. Loves attention and requires a lot of it.

Story
Look at this leggy girlie! Claire De Lune is a worried and inexperienced yearling that is learning to broaden her circle of friends. Claire would benefit from a home that can go at her pace and provide her with a predictable routine as she settles in and builds a relationship with her family. Our volunteers tell us that when they first meet Claire, she may seem a bit timid and unsure, but she responds well to their patience when they speak to her in a calm and gentle manner. And once she is leashed up for her walks, she's ready to go. They have told us she is smart and sits politely for treats. She likes scratches behind her ears and down her neck and if they stop too soon, well she may just let them know they aren't done yet.Having a sociable dog friend in her new home may aid in her comfort as well! At this time FAS will only rehome to a family with children 10 and over. Claire de Lune is French for "moonlight," so whether there's a full moon, half moon, or no moon, come meet her today! Story
I am a BIG, playful, goof of a dog! I currently weigh in at around 73lbs!  I want nothing more than to play and then rest and maybe play a little more and then rest!  I am great with other dogs who want to play and the ones who don't I respect their boundaries. I would love a forever home with another dog to play with, and I promise we will wear each other out!  I came into my foster home with 5 other dogs ranging in size and age with ZERO problems.  I have met a kitty before and didn't show that I was overly interested.  I am potty trained and take myself out the dog door.  I am kennel trained and will happily go in there to eat my meals and for bedtime.  I love all toys, balls, soft ones, hard ones...really I just love anything fun!  I stick to what's mine and leave my fosters shoes and other items alone.  I am looking for a relatively active home where I can have my mental and physical needs met.  I'm not a couch potato but I'm not a highly active pup, I'm in the middle.  I would make a great walking and hiking partner. I am very food motivated. I would love a forever home that wants to do training! I want to please and will be very easily trained, I already know my sit and lay down and it seems I know stay, drop it, and leave it!  I would do best in a house with a yard.  I am such a lovely gentle giant and I cannot wait to meet my forever family.   ##1884672##

Story
Hi there! My name is River, I’m the sweetest sugar plum you’ll ever meet, and I’m ready to find my forever home! The #1 thing you should know about me is that I’m a major cuddle bug. If you’re down, I’d be happy to permanently take up residence in your lap. If you need to stand up, that’s fine (I guess), but you can expect to find me tagging along on your heel as you go from room to room. I’m super sweet and incredibly loyal to my people. Some of my talents include: being really pretty, doing ear acrobatics when you talk to me, being an amateur food critic (yes, I can tell if you’re trying to serve me plain kibble without any special toppings, and no, you won’t get away with it), and jumping to Olympic heights when I’m excited. I’m potty trained, so my foster family hasn’t had to worry about any accidents in the house, and although I’m still working on the finer points of leash manners, I love walks, so I’m doing my best to get really good at them so we can go more often. I’m super smart and quickly picking up my basic commands. I’m also great at chilling out when we’re done with playtime. I’m a sucker for a cozy bed (or a tile floor, if it’s hot), I don’t complain when my foster mom wants to sleep in a bit, and I’m happy to settle down next to you while you get some work done. I’m getting pretty good at my crate training, too. I’m a big people-dog, and I would love to be your one and only. Who needs other dogs when you’ve got one with a personality as big as mine? I’ve been learning to like my foster brother, but I’m still most comfortable when he’s on the other side of a baby gate, so while I think I could make friends with canine siblings, it would require some time and patience from all of us. I a still adapting to life out of the shelter and will need a patient owner that can show me meeting dog friends is so scary. So, if you're seeking a smart, affectionate companion who's already got some of the basics down and is ready to learn more, look no further! I can't wait to meet my forever family and share all the love and joy I have to offer. ##2123185##

Story
Cashew is a sweet dog that loves to play and go on long walks, but also likes to just chill and cuddle on the couch. She's great on walks and never pulls. Shes comfortable in her crate or sleeping in a dog bed. She is friendly with other animals but sometimes she's too excited and gets overbearing, so she could use some training in that area. She is potty trained pretty well but naturally still has accidents sometimes. ##2123239##
