Story
Jax is a friendly and energetic female Husky-Shepherd mix who loves to play and has a lot of love to give. She enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, and playing fetch. Jax thrives in an active environment and would be a perfect match for a family that loves adventure and spending time outside. While she can get along with other dogs, she is not always consistent and may need careful introductions and monitoring. It would be ideal for her to find a home with her best friend, Zyra, a loyal White German Shepherd, but it's not a strict requirement. Her playful nature and affectionate personality make her a wonderful companion. Jax would benefit from a home that can provide both love and exercise to keep her happy and healthy.

Story
FOSTER CARE! Hi, I'm Thor! I'm a 1 year old, neutered male, Siberian Husky mix and I weigh 51 pounds. Have you ever wished for a dog with the personality of a cat? Well if you have, I'm your wish come true! I'm a sweet and playful boy but I like to take my time getting to know new people. I need to be sure I'm safe before I rub against you for pets. Once I'm super comfortable, I love to run zoomies, play with toys and even jump into water! I love going on adventures. I have good car manners and I'm getting better with my leash manners. I would be the perfect beach buddy! My ideal home would be with someone who is ready for a sweet, energetic pup and will take the time to help me overcome my shyness. As a scaredy cat, I would do best in quiet but active home. I promise to be your best buddy, once I get to know you.  Thor ID# A938350 Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing behavior@phs-spca.org You may also submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. Story
Hello there, my name is Lucien! I'm a dashing 1 year old neutered male Siberian Husky Mix. weighing in at 40lbs. I have a sunny disposition that will instantly brighten your day! I bounce with excitement and enthusiasm! My playful and energetic nature makes me an absolute joy to be around. I love playtime but I also know how to settle down for cuddles and quality time. I'm food motivated, so training is an engaging experience and I eagerly learn new tricks and commands. I would love to go home with an active family willing to provide the exercise, mental stimulation and guidance a young husky needs. As a jumpy, overly playful boy, I would do best in a home with older, dog savvy kids (10+) who understand giving me space when I get overexcited. Before going home, I would love to meet all the members of the household as well as any resident dogs.  Lucien ID# A941386  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Story
Hello World! My name is Halle, I'm a 1 year old, 37lbs, spayed female Siberian Husky who is ready and rearing to go! I'm a playful bundle of energy that can't help but bring a smile to your face with my silly antics. As you can see from my beautiful picture I only have one eye but that doesn't stop me from leaping and bounding all about. I would love to go home with a family that has experience with Nordic breeds like me and is ready to help me with my overall training and socialization needs. For the moment I would do best as the only dog in the household until I have really worked on doggy meet and greets. I would love to meet the whole household before going home and due to my overall excitable nature and jumpiness I would do best in a a home with dog savvy kids 10+. If you are looking for a sweet, silly and outgoing girl like me; then stop on by and say hi!  I recently went on a field trip with one of my favorite volunteers! Here's what they had to say: 'We went on a hike in Pacifica. She was easy to gear and really great in the car. There were lots of smells/birds/squirrels to keep her busy! She was friendly and curious towards all the people and dogs we passed on the trail. She’s an excellent hiking buddy! ' Halle ID# A940619    I went on an field trip with one of my favorite volunteers. This is what they had to say about our day together: We went on a hike in Pacifica. She was easy to gear and really great in the car. I brought the chain leash just in case, but she was really well behaved on the leash, very minimal jumping compared to how she can be on Rollins. There were lots of smells/birds/squirrels to keep her busy! She was friendly and curious towards all the people and dogs we passed on the trail. She’s an excellent hiking buddy!   Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Story
Hello, my name is Storm! I'm a 3 year old, 66lb, neutered, Siberian Husky. I'm a smart and independent boy that loves to explore! I'm hoping for a family that has experience with northern breeds like me. I'm a Husky so my new family should be prepared to continue my training, I'm a bit stubborn after all. I am a goofy sweetheart that thinks everything is a game! I'm a very active boy and would enjoy a pal that loves to be active! Please be sure to bring in the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me before adding me to the family. If you are ready for a sporty boy as myself, submit an application in for me Storm ID# A896825! I recently went on an adventure with one of my favorite volunteers! Here is what they had to say: 'I took storm out on Monday. We went to HMB to the coastal trail (all paved). He was a great walker; other dogs didn’t bother him. He was intrigued by the bunnies and fascinated by the horses. Never barked at anything.'
