He has been to a professional training for a week, so he is great off leash and will stay by your side and has great recall. Very toy and treat driven. He has A LOT of energy and loves walks. So far he gets a long great with female dogs and has been better with males since getting neutered. Hasn’t shown any aggression towards people. Potty trained and kennel trained. He was found as a stray, and my friend wanted to adopt him. She later left him at my house and promised she would come back for him, then never came back. From what we could find out, Mooncake was neglected and abandoned by his previous owner. We had no record of his medical history when we took him in. We neutered and vaccinated him about two months ago. He has quite a bit of energy and loves belly rubs. He likes chewing on toys and playing fetch. He is an escape artist who can somehow open locked doors. He's very loveable, but also a bit mischievous. He usually doesn't like to sleep alone. He likes to scratch at someone's door until they let him in to sleep in their room. He sometimes sneakily sleeps on the be IMPORTANT: He has one bite on record. He typically has a friendly and playful temperament, but he once bit me on the scalp while I was trying to separate him from my sister's dog. The bite was not very deep, and I did not need stitches or any medical treatment.

Ruka is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky that had been a part of our family since pup-hood. As Ruka got older, he began displaying food aggression towards our other dogs which led to fights and injuries. Due to this, it would be best for him to be a single-pet. Although Ruka had not displayed aggression towards people or children, we believe he would do best in either an adult or older children household. We cannot afford to go through behavioral training and know that it’s best for him to be rehomed for the safety of our other pets. He loves going on walks but does pull a lot until you get to a park where he sniffs everything he can. He loves playing fetch but doesn't always return the ball and instead wants to be chased. He likes being around family event mainly because he knows somebody is going to give him food. Be careful with rat poison, he's eated some before and finished it. He also loves the beach (not so much swimming but just running and splashing on the waves.

My Nala is my best friend. She’s so energetic. She’s so sweet but the last couple months I’ve neglected her. I’ve been busy at work trying to maintain my household as my wife is now pregnant and we’re gonna have a beautiful child but that’s not Nala’s fault. I thought that I was able to multitask and also train her or keep her with the needs that she very well deserves, but I struggle to find time and my wife has to deal with a breed that needs a lot of attention and a lot of exercise. It’s not her fault. It’s mine. Nala is amazing when it comes to visitors, she loves people more than anything and all she wants to do is explore. She’s not aggressive in any way I’ve hardly ever heard her bark and that’s only coming to instance of maybe just a slight noise, but she never growls at me even when playing we’ve gotten the occasional talk with her, but she just wants your attention in your love. This is Beau, he is a male two year old husky mix (not sure what the other mix is), who’s a high energy dog. Beau is potty trained and also did a 2 week board and train when he was 1 1/2 years old. He does have behavioral issues still where he gets reactive with other dogs walking by or near him. He does have the tools to manage his behavioral issues but it does require a lot of maintenance. Beau is a goofball and everyday is something new with him. He loves food and will do anything for it! Especially when telling him a command. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I no longer will be able to take care of him as much as I want. He does need an owner who can deal with a high energy dog and not a first time owner unless you know the proper way to handle such a high energy dog. He’s really good with other people but unfortunately not with other pets. I will love for him to have another handler that can provide him the best care he deserves.

Luna is a female Siberian Husky, aged 8-9 months or so. We found her roaming the streets in our neighborhood with her leg injured, and upon finding her owners, were notified that they did not want her anymore and were planning on dumping her. Upon hearing that we started fostering her at our home, got her leg stitched up at the vet, as well as getting her spayed, vaccinated, chipped, and dewormer & flea meds. She's been with us since November and despite not having the best first several months of her life, she is SUPER friendly and sweet, adapting well, and is now kennel trained, housebroken, improving on leash training, and has mastered "sit"! (the previous family did not do ANY training!). She's GREAT with people (including kids), loves dogs, and is even friendly with our cat! She loves toys and loves to play tug of war! She is energetic but will also be super happy to snuggle you on the couch and be a couch potato with you.

Three years old, neutered, and was a rescue; it takes some time for him to earn your trust; he is strong and sometimes pulls on leashes when walking. He has typical stubborn husky behavior; no cats or small animals, and no kids under 14, please, due to his mouthy and nipping behavior, and his bite is strong; sometimes you will bleed if you force him, so do not! Always ask for his permission before patting him, especially when he is lying down, which is the most vulnerable position for an outdoor animal like him during his earlier life when he was left outside 24/7 in the yard with a lack of socialization and human interaction. He can stay by himself for around 4 to 6 hours, but remember that Husky is a pack animal, which is not recommended for more than 2 hours. When leaving him alone, you need to lock him outside or create a safe zone for him inside the house; just like most huskies, they will start to be destructive and chew when bored. Generally, after three years old, they will begin to calm down. He was never crate trained, rides decent in the car, but makes lots of exciting noise! Trial adoption is recommended; feel free to see if he fits your family, I need to find him a good home, so I do not mind taking him back if things do not go well with the adoption.
