Story
Three years old, neutered, and was a rescue; it takes some time for him to earn your trust; he is strong and sometimes pulls on leashes when walking. He has typical stubborn husky behavior; no cats or small animals, and no kids under 14, please, due to his mouthy and nipping behavior, and his bite is strong; sometimes you will bleed if you force him, so do not! Always ask for his permission before patting him, especially when he is lying down, which is the most vulnerable position for an outdoor animal like him during his earlier life when he was left outside 24/7 in the yard with a lack of socialization and human interaction. He can stay by himself for around 4 to 6 hours, but remember that Husky is a pack animal, which is not recommended for more than 2 hours. When leaving him alone, you need to lock him outside or create a safe zone for him inside the house; just like most huskies, they will start to be destructive and chew when bored. Generally, after three years old, they will begin to calm down. He was never crate trained, rides decent in the car, but makes lots of exciting noise! Trial adoption is recommended; feel free to see if he fits your family, I need to find him a good home, so I do not mind taking him back if things do not go well with the adoption.

RESCUED AT THE LAST MINUTE! Sawyer is a fantastic girl, mellow and shy. Once she trusts you, she will open up and become a playful, cute, and very submissive personality. Credit card and PayPal donations directly to this animal https://www.paypal.com/donate?campaign_id=EYT8WK7DPPPWC Venmo username is @SVAnimalRescue (under the "Charity" section) All donations are subject to 60% tax deductible! Silicon Valley Animal Rescue did it again. They pulled another husky that is on the euthanization list for today without any financial support. We encourage the public to donate to the rescue; any amount helps, and every dollar helps. SVAR is one of the few non-profit organizations in the United States offering free adoption. They vet every potential adoptee for background checks and work closely with local and regional shelters to pull "at-risk" and "on-final" animals with high success rates. All the animals they've pulled are deemed not adoptable and should be destroyed immediately. The female husky has officially left the building! From a high-kill shelter in Southern California. Story
Courtesy Post This is Ivy, a beloved husky with a big personality and a love for life, looking for a new forever family. Ivy is an outdoorsy girl who adores sunbathing, lounging outside, and going on as many walks as possible. She's happiest when she has a routine and a yard to call her own. Ivy is a curious spirit—playful, loyal, and always ready for a game of hide-and-seek or a run in the yard. She's a fan of beef, salmon, and cheese, and she'll happily show her excitement with her tail wagging away. Ivy loves being around other dogs and enjoys social time but also appreciates her solo moments. She's a classic husky who likes to set her own pace and do things on her terms. Due to a recent change in her family's circumstances, Ivy has been feeling a bit lonely, and she would thrive in an active, loving home that can give her the attention she deserves. All her essentials will go with her, and her current family is committed to finding the right fit for her—a home where she'll be loved and have the space and time to be her fabulous husky self. Complete healthy medical records are available, too! Interested families with the proper setup for Ivy are encouraged to contact Nora at 310-293-0590 or email noraasi94@gmail.com.

Story
It breaks my heart to write this, but I need to find Mochi a new home. She's an 8-year-old Gerbarian Shepsky with a spirit full of energy and love, but due to some major changes in my life, I can no longer provide her with the active lifestyle she truly deserves. Mochi is a special soul. She's the perfect companion for daily walks and playful moments. She thrives when she's out and about, and her zest for life is contagious. But as much as I want to give her all the attention and activity she needs, my current circumstances no longer allow me to do that. I want her to find a family who can offer her the exercise and playtime she thrives on, someone who will appreciate her playful and calm energy and provide the love and attention she's always given me. If you are looking for a loving, chill companion and have the time and space for an active dog, Mochi could be the perfect fit for your home. She deserves to continue living a joyful life and I want nothing more than to see her loved.

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, January 11th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.     Adoption Fee: $700 Nyllah is a 2 year old, 60-pound purebred Chow Chow with the looks of a majestic lion and the personality of a laid-back queen. She’s an independent, calm companion who enjoys the occasional game of chase or ball with kids but is just as happy lounging like a cat for most of the day. House-trained and furniture-friendly, Nyllah doesn’t jump, chew, or dig and has impeccable manners with other pets, including dogs and cats. While she may pull on the leash to sniff every blade of grass, her adorable squirrel-cries make up for it.   Living with five children, Nyllah has proven herself to be gentle and patient, never snapping or jumping. She’s shy with new men at first but warms up quickly, especially if you’re willing to hang out and enjoy her company. Not a velcro dog, Nyllah values her personal space but will sit beside you when she’s in the mood for affection. She’s perfect for a homebody or someone who can spend time bonding with her on long walks or cozy afternoons.   Nyllah’s favorite activities include barking at the doorbell, ignoring cats, and being the chillest family member you’ll ever meet. If you’re ready for a low-maintenance, big-hearted companion with a lion’s mane and a queen’s charm, Nyllah is waiting to meet you!   Nyllah is an option for just about any kind of family. She is truly the best of the best of this breed. Children should be over the age of 5 unless they currently have another dog in the home.January 9, 2025, 3:02 am
