Story
My lovely big headed boys name is Maui. He is all love and no thoughts...not a single one lol. I got him in 2016 when my sisters dogs had puppies. Our first two years together were filled with a lot of learning. I had another much older dog(she has just recently passed away) at the time as well and while she begrudgingly dealt with all his puppy energy (which spoilers he has not fully grown out of) she learned to accept him or rather ignore him pretty quickly. He once broke his right foot from being too excited and basically leaping off a set of stairs as a puppy. It healed nicely and there seems to be no lasting effects but just something for new owners to be aware of. He also developed some severe food allergies but I have listed all the tested ones in the food section. This allergy often effects his weight and skin the biggest area is his nose. Overall I hope to find a home for him full of love with people who can keep up with his energy (he loves to run) and don't mind his health

Story
Xavier is a striking Husky mix with a beautiful coat and vibrant personality. This lovable boy is a volunteer favorite, and it’s easy to see why. Xavier is incredibly friendly with people and is always eager to make new human friends. He thrives in an environment where he can get lots of attention and exercise, so an active household would be perfect for him. When it comes to outings, Xavier is a dream on a leash. He walks beautifully, stays focused, and is easy to handle, making him a joy on walks, runs, or hikes and he seems to be housetrained, making him a well-behaved companion indoors as well! A fenced yard would be ideal for him to burn off his energy, but he also enjoys a good mental challenge, so puzzle toys or interactive games are a great way to keep him entertained. He’s not a fan of other dogs encroaching on his space and would do best in a setting where he can have all the attention to himself, so a home without other dogs would make him the happiest. Xavier’s Husky instincts also mean he’s not a fan of cats—he tends to pester them, so a cat-free home is a must. If you're looking for a loyal, adventurous companion who will keep you active and engaged, Xavier might just be the perfect fit.
