Story
Misha was a shelter dog at the MD SPCA. She turns 4 years this November. She is an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog. She loves going for walks and is very food/treat motivated. Otherwise she loves taking long naps and finding weird places to lay around. She has a strong prey drive towards small animals. She is incredibly strong and fast so I would recommend walking tools like easy-walk or gentle leader. She sheds a lot and needs proper and regular grooming to maintain. She is also an escape artist and will try to escape given the opportunity. Loves water and swimming. She is hovering around 62lbs and eats about 3 Cups of kibble/day. Looking for a home that has a yard or other animals for her to socialize with. Needs a fair amount of activity.

Story
I just can't understand it....I'm an almost perfect dog, but no one has adopted me. My beautiful foster sister just got adopted and now I'm feeling a little sad. Anyway, I'm gentle and loving and mostly just want to be with my people. People always comment on how sweet and gentle I am. I am perfectly happy to go to the dog park and mix and mingle, but I do love getting all those pets from the humans there. I'm about two years old, very healthy, housetrained, love to sleep on the sofa or the dog bed, love to play with my dog friends, and very happy to hang out with my humans. I weigh about 35 to 40 pounds and am vaccinated and spayed. My foster mom tells me that my time will come. Hope it's soon. Love to meet you!

Story
Female, 1 year, 29 lbs Personality: Energetic, snuggler, patient, adaptable, gentle, smart, adventurous, good running partner, easygoing, quiet, affectionate, calm, playful. Tosha is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves being involved in whatever her people are doing. Whether she’s following you from room to room or lying in the kitchen right where you need to stand, she’s always nearby. She’s playful, quick to learn, and full of puppy energy, often bouncing around to get other dogs to join in the fun. With a little more leash training, she’d make a great running partner. She’s incredibly gentle and loves to cuddle on the couch, making her a wonderful companion for quiet moments at home. Tosha is respectful of household boundaries and is generally quiet, though she does have a dramatic "awoo" when left alone. Tosha is making great progress with house training and learning basic commands. With her adventurous and affectionate spirit, Tosha is sure to bring love and excitement to her forever home. ____________________________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. Story
Meet Flynn, the most handsome, loving, work in progress you'll ever meet! Flynn is a 2-year-old Husky mix. Flynn is stunningly handsome and absolutely adores his people and other dogs, but because of a few quirks, will require a patient adopter. We are unsure exactly what this boy went through in his early days, but it's obvious, it wasn't nice. While Flynn holds no grudges against humans, he is extremely timid. It takes Flynn time to warm up to anyone new. He seems much more at ease around women and children, though does warm up to men...eventually. He enjoys going to the dog park where he has become a superstar - romping and playing with the other dogs. He loves going for walks with his canine foster siblings. Flynn isn't a fan of being left alone but does find comfort in his canine foster siblings in these situations. Flynn's ideal home will have someone home for a good part of the day, at least one other confident dog to help him adjust, and a fenced yard because this fella loves the outdoors and lounging in the sun! He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready to find his forever home! This dog's adoption fee is $400. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. Story
Poor Aspen has grown up with us in rescue from a puppy, as big dog adoptions are down. He is such a sweet dog that just wants to run and get attention. His brother and sister have been adopted. Aspen's mum was brought into a rural shelter in TX very pregnant. She was hanging around some apartment complex, found a couch to lay on. The very next day after arriving at the shelter she had 3 puppies. Flora is the mum and she is a Siberian Husky who is the same colour as Aspen. The shelter she was at was full and there was a big plea to save her and her babies lives to which we answered. All the puppies are very sweet. Aspen is now ready for his home after being fixed, had all shots for his age and micro chipped. His breed is high energy so no apartments. A fenced in yard and buddy would be wonderful. If you are interested in this handsome fellow please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $450 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee ($250) is not refundable if things do not work out.
