Princess Mulan is just as brave and adventurous as her Disney namesake! She loves the outdoors, whether it's watching the wildlife go by on a camping trip or exploring different trails - she'll even brave the rain.
Mulan is a social butterfly with other dogs, animals, and humans of all sizes, greeting them with a polite sniff and a waggy tail. When she's not adventuring, this lovebug is glued to your side, and will crawl into your lap for couch snuggles and kisses. A fan of comfy dog beds, Mulan will often settle in her bed to sleep during the day - unless it's hot, and then she'll splay on the floor to cool down her belly!
Mulan has done well with her initial interactions with the cats in her foster home. As a high-energy pup, Mulan would thrive with an active adopter or in a home with another dog to keep her company.
Mulan is house trained and does pretty well in the crate as long as she's had enough exercise. This quick study knows the word "sit" and is learning others like "lie down," "leave it, " and "off". She also loves using her brain during playtime outside or with toys and food puzzles.

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP,Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
