To learn more about Huey, please contact dogs@lostdogrescue.orig Huey will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event they will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) Meet Huey! This adorable, energetic, and friendly pup is on the hunt for his forever home. Huey is a puppy at heart, with an unmatched lust for life and enthusiasm for everything. He stays calm in new situations and loves meeting new people. While this kind pup has no bad intentions, his passion often makes itself known, so he would do best in a home with experienced owners. Huey loves walks and is very eager to explore his surroundings and meet new people, so he might need to be handled by an experienced walker. On walks, he stays aware of his surroundings but behaves himself around other dogs. With all his energy and excited personality, Huey will need lots of time and space to play. He loves toys and enjoys being pet. He might enjoy play-wrestling with other dogs- despite his enthusiasm, he is a very kind, gentle pup at heart. He takes treats gently and knows some commands. If you love staying active and are looking for a loyal, kind new family member, Huey might just be your guy! He would do best with a family that can give him lots of physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. He wants to explore everything life has to offer and is a delightful, energetic, and good-natured pup.

To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event they will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events* This lovely young lady is a playful girl who is seeking a family ready for adventure. She loves a good hike, and playtime with her toys. She has especially enjoyed play sessions with her doggo pals. Though, she is also content alone, pondering the wonders of life. Not only will this adventurous girl keep you busy with all the playtime fun, but she will supply all the love you will ever need. She may be shy at first, but is very quick to warm up, and show you her best Scooby Doo impressions. Not only is she an impressionist, she may also impress you with her 'sit'. She has nearly mastered that command, and may benefit from learning more. Lainey has not shown a large interest in treats, but who needs them, when you're such an angel? Story
Patti is uptodate on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is timid and shy at first but will warm up to her humans once she gets to know and trust you. She was found as a stray in Alabama when she showed up at the back door of a home frightened. She seemed to be looking for a door to enter and a human to comfort her. She is extremely sweet and loving but has to be given time to open up to her humans. She is listed as a Huskymix but she is small for a Husky, weighing only in the mid forties. She is very young, estimated to be between one and two years old. Please consider giving Patti a chance to join your family. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. KATYA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!    Name:   Katya         Best Guess for Breed:  Husky mix, maybe some Aussie Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of January 2025        SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   42 lbs   Gets Along With:  Katya does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with kids or cats. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.   Katya is Looking For:   Her forever home! This beautiful girl is eager to have her own humans for romps in parks and all the adventures they can dream up. She loves playing with other dogs, and wants to make pup pals along the way. Her She definitely has lots of energy to burn - that breed mix! - and she will thrive on ample physical activity and mental enrichment. Oh, and with that double coat of hers - yeah, crank up the air conditioning when there isn't snow on the ground. Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, who her people are. In exchange she promises to be the best buddy for world exploration - and adoring gazes with those gorgeous blue eyes. What do you say? Is Katya the active companion you have been seeking? What My Foster Says About Me:   Katya is doing well. She is definitely very energetic and loves to run around. She has gotten along very well with all other dogs and people. I would say she will do well with an active family that can take her on long walks/runs and can take her to a dog park often. It would probably be a bonus if they have a fenced-in yard. She seems to be fairly independent but still loves to be around people. She has been a ton of fun to foster.    Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
